Total surprise to me from the wife and inlaws. I would have never bought it for myself. Sitka Stratus jacket, and Accent pants. It will be 25 in the morning with snow showers here. I will try them 20 ft in my best spot in the AM. I am a lucky man to have such a great family.

I love Sika Gear! Just "discovered" it this y ear. I have several pieces to get me through all the weather here in KY.

I see the ads for Sitka gear and wonder if it lives up to it's hefty price tag. Let us know. Good luck hunting everyone.

The Ascent won't be a warm piece of clothing at all. It's made to stretch and be comfortable. You will be able to layer under it and the stretchability of the Ascent will make it so you can walk without your outer layer binding up. Used by itself, the Ascent is designed for warm-weather and/or active hunting. The Stratus on the other hand is designed for cooler weather, but probably depends on the person whether it's the layer for 25 degrees. Some folks love it, others need more. Either way, you got some gear that should last you a long time and be very functional.
