How about stories and or pics of some strange happenings or maybe some strange finds you have experienced while hunting.Down here in southern Texas,we've come across such things as a black and white horse hair blanket on the floor in a cave in west Texas;deep holes pounded into the cliff edges where former peoples crushed whatever it was they were crushing.One of my coolest finds was a tektite(meteorite).Some buddies even found a human skull in a cave,yes it was old and you bet we left it there,no need to bring bad karma upon yourself!So how 'bout it,any cool finds?

While digging in a pile of chips,who knows how deep,looking for arrowheads around a fire ring where indians had chipped them for centuries.My friend had his arm buried to the sholder when he shouted I feel something! He pulled up a ring from a pop top can. I guess they have been turned over just a little.
A friend found a small safe from a robbery. Ended up in court for years as a witness.
One of the local state areas, the area just out of the parking lot is covered with gut piles.. Game commission says it's from people dragging them out then dressing them.. I content it is from road hunting gang bangers grabbing their poached deer and dragging them down there to gut them.
While hunting our lease in South Texas I came across a 12 gauge sawed-off Winchester shotgun loaded with slugs and buckshot shoved into a brush pile. It was less than 100yds from camp.

That's very ironic cause believe it or not here in the state of Md. I found two safes in the same area off the road about 30 yards...One had some coin left in it...The detective went out with me to see if we could find any doors to the safe and wouldn't you know it I did...I also found a cut lock to one of the safes...Two weeks or so later that detective called me at home and told me that about $500.00 was stolen from them safes from a super soda store in a nearby town about 25 miles away....This was found on state land also...
Hunted an area at Quantico and always noticed these mounds anywhere from 4' to 10' high. Never thought musch about it till the base biologist asked if I would show some archaeologist's to the area. So for the next 3 days I worked with them. They never dug but used sonar/radar type device to penetrate the ground. Well 4 months later we got word back that they were in fact Indian burial mounds.
