Good footage....Next time I'll make sure I have my volume down and not be sipping on a cup of coffee...I didn't know the dude was going to fire a round to break off an antler...I got coffee to clean up now... :coffee:

BTW a buddy of mine read on a wheelie site that both survived- apparently the big one laid down for about 10 minutes after being dragged off the ice and then got up & ran off.
Bet he'll think twice about taking on the scrapper!
That was amazing!
great,thanks for sharing
cool video, thanks for sharing it.
Bob
Wow, amazing!
He must be the Rocky of the deer world.
Seems the locked horns thing happens more often than I knew, hear about it quite often. My son found pics of 3 locked together.
These 2 washed up on the Putaxent river in Maryland a few years ago.

Cool stuff.
As sensitive as a deers hearing is I bet the gun blast from point blank range had them ringing for a while.
I would have bet good money that the little aggressive buck would have scrammed as soon as it was free. To see it stay and fight, after a shotgun blast to the antlers, plus hunters/dogs on top of it, is simply amazing. I saw it and still can't believe it.
That was unreal!!!!
We had that happen locally as well. What a loss.
