The only pictures I have seen of the risers have been without limbs or grips. Does anyone have pictures of these risers setup and ready to hunt?
What size riser do you want to see??? I can get it on tomorrow.
Probably the 17". I draw to 28" and like the larger sight window.
I am a little torn because I was hoping the ILF would allow me to get as short as 52" for duck and goose hunting but it doesn't look like that is much of an option for my draw length regardless of riser length.
I did have a question for you Bob, why does the riser have the two holes for a plunger type rest? If the bottom hole was used, wouldn't vanes hit the shelf?
Thanks
I'll put one together tomorrow, I've been want to try that myself. I don't know of anyone that can shoot vanes of the shelf accuately. So bottom is for shooting off the shelf top is for elevated rests and vanes. I have a shippment of my new metal risers coming tomorrow late. But I 1 17" I'll setup.
Bob, if you are putting some together for a photo shoot, I'd sure like to see a 17" and 19".
I was looking at your site and don't quite understand the weight chart at the bottom with the W W limbs. How do you know what weight any given limb will be on one of your risers? Thanks...Mike
And if you don't mind me asking, are they only in black? any camo dip?
What about attachment, any das type bolt down system available?
Not trying to be offensive with any questions here, but seriously thinking about buying one and weighing all the options.

Very handsome!
I just picked up a used one. They are very nicely made, and a good solid feel. Limbs seem to be quieter on these metal risers than they are on wood. They are pretty cool.
I love my Morrison 15" Metal ILF!
I really like my 15 inch Morrison, however it would be nice to add that 17" to the collection.
They really do spoil you quick, hardest part is getting past the pretty bow aspect but if you can it is a shooting machine.
Bob, when you shoot your longbow limbs vs the recurve limbs what difference can you tell if any?

A couple of the colors.. these are the new 19". They came about 10min. ago That is a low grip on the 1st pics.
Bob
Which grip do have on that riser? It looks like something I might want to try. The one I have doesn't fit me as well as I'd like.
Mark
Its called Traditional grip from Jager he only has a low in them so far.
So medium or high grips aren't available yet?
Yes DAS, Hoyt A standard in Jager will also work.
Bob, I really like the look of these. What are the little holes on the sides of the limb pockets for? Is there a radius shelf on these? Thanks...Mike
They are for set screws, For laterial limb alignment and to keep main bolt from vibrating loose. Shelf is ramped, like a radius only straight.
They are nice.
