Looking for opinions on quality bows for younger kids. Preferably something less than 20#.

Another vote for Maddog archery.  Mike makes GREAT youth, midsize and adult size bows.  We have four Maddog's in our kennel now and my sons love 'em.

Windauers build a Silvertip Cub also. A reasonably priced longbow that isn't listed on their site.
The bows listed above are great too.

Ol' Saint Nick is placing a 'Phoneix Lite' under the tree at my house tomorrow night for my daughter   :bigsmyl:  Its still in the shipping tube, I haven't seen it yet. Arrgh another day to go.

Scott Mitchell of Timberhawk bows builds a sweet little one piece recurve. My son had one when he first started out, shot like a dream. Really spit arrows out of it for such a little low weight bow. Worth looking into! Jason
