Steve, is that Pope & Young shape the same as what another shop sells as the Raptor shape?

Yeah, it's not really to my taste either. But I have people who really like it. I like to use that one if I'm wrapping the front edge of the feather for shooting off the hand. I can trim a bit to expose the quill for the thread and not change the profile of the feather. If I try that with a shield cut the front looks a little odd.

Swift would definitely be my choice.  I too had but did not like the traditional chop.  I really like the Thawk chopper.

I have the traditional shape little chopper.  They are really cool looking but they are kinda loud when they fly through the air.  I bought it and a shield cut at the same time and I almost never use my traditional shape cutter.

The noise issue has me really thinking of something different.I dunno, maybe I'll get a couple choppers and call it good.
