Got two pics two days in a row(12-15,16) of this boy. He's still holding both sides. For now that is. Hopefully he'll keep em for a couple weeks so I can try to get an arrow into him.

This pic is of the second day. Then the turkeys filled my card up. Not sure how many other times he came through here. The pic is taken about 20 yards off a cut corn field.

Very nice Buck. Good Luck
Man what a buck. Good luck indeed.
Great deer good luck.
I was actually surprised to see him this close to a field only 2-weeks after gun season. The top pic was taken at 5:07 pm and the bottom pic was taken at 4:46pm. Alot of daylight left with those times! :goldtooth:
My stand is actually right over the hill behind him. I have to move it though cause the wind in that spoil doesn't like me there. I'm going to have to put it on the field edge. We shall see.
Oh my, looks like a dead deer walking. That is dead once you get after him. Best to you.
Earl
Lord what a great buck. Play your hand close to your vest....
This is from experience, If you get him down, DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT put a lot of pressure on those horns... nuf said
He is worth ever moment of time you can spend...
That's a good'un. Hope ya get a crack at him!
Outstanding.
My season ended yesterday at sunset watching a "roundhead" and his/her mommy in range. Very late for such a little one. I said "Merry Christmas" and watched the tails disappear and then I headed for home. Maybe in two or three years I'll see the little scrapper again.
Hope Ma educates well about cars and coyotes but kind of skips over hunters. ;-)

I hear ya! But it really doesn't matter unless your going to enter a deer into the books. I've never cared to enter any of my deer so if they come off,so be it. A good taxidermist can get em back where they belong. My 8 year old nephew just shot a good buck the other day and both sides fell off when it hit the ground. It happens!
Yes huntschool my son just shot a 130 class buck in that same field 2 days ago and both sides fell off when he died. This week saw lots of bucks with sides missing in that field this week.Leatherneck you better get busy.
I'm heading out on Wed. to move the stand. You can help ya know! :deadhorse:
That is a goodun!!!
Are you sure it aint a doe with a couple of scrub oaks caught between her ears. Thats a sweeeeet buck hope you get him
Longbowben and Leatherneck...
Sure seems early for them to start droppin. Ours seem to be pretty "tight" still.
Shame about your son's deer.
Its no problem my buddy is going to reattach the rack back to the scull plate and mount it for him.
Good luck, you better hurry where I am in MN they are dropping like crazy!
OUTSTANDING  Hope you get him.
I'm going to give it a shot. Just hope I don't see a big deer and look down to see two spots on his head. :scared:
This is an evening spot and I work afternoons. I think I might be a little sick Thur. afternoon.
Nice! buck, leave that camera there, he seems kinda fixated on it. Good Luck
If you do kill him measure his spread exactly before you pull on him.
Be a shame not to be able to put them back where they belong.

Mike

You guys that hunt them great big bucks ain`t fooling me...at least half the hunter in you hopes they live another year.
It`s just a bucks` bad luck if he happens to walk in range of the "other half" of the hunter in you that day.
:campfire:
Awesome deer! Good luck!
Nice just knowing a deer like that is around. I haven't seen a deer that big since my hunting partner killed the one we were pursuing back in Sept. And I think yours is actually bigger. Good luck.
That's a fine buck...good luck on your hunt!
Niice buck. Can hardly wait to see the finish.Best of luck.
