Don't forget Marty Thompson of Apex Predator Bows, Ron Maulding Bighorn Bows, & Dick Wightman in Washington. Dick has made quite a few having some big fun with his favorite Hill passion, Marty's bows are flawless, & I've been shooting a Maulding 75#'er everyday since I got it from Leo 2 months ago.

Howard Hill, Dave Miller , Jim Belcher , northern Mist and Nate Steen all build exceptional bows.

I tend to drift between Belcher Union Jacks , Craig's Howard Hills and my Miller Ol' Tom.

Gonna have to get me one of Marty's Apex Cumberlands...he is a sponsor here.

One of the finest out there--Wallace Mountain longbow by Dave Wallace of Marietta, Ohio.  He won the IBO World Championship, Triple Crown, and Shooter of the Year with his Hill style longbow.  And they are works of art.

Nathan Steele, Bama Bows can be added to the list and I'll vouch for his Hill style.

The Mohawk classic would fit into this category right? They are very sweet and accurate as well.

My opinion counts, at my house, if I'm home alone..lol

God bless,Mudd

Dave Wallace (Wallace Mountain Lonbows)does not have a web site--sells bows by word of mouth mainly.  Some of the absolute finest workmanship you will ever find.

Where would I go to find pictures of these bows, because I can't find websites for a lot of these makers?

Thanks.

a 'hill style' longbow means to me long, narrow, rectangular cross sectioned limbs that are either reflex, straight or w/string follow, complimented by a straight handled short riser.

That pretty much sums up what I'm looking for(straight handle and narrow limbs with no curve).
