How many of you shoot and like the Gamegetter shafts? Just wanted to see what you guys thought.
I have 400s and 500s. I like them, and the price for bare shafts is pretty good. The 400s are equivalent to 2117s and the 500s about like 2016s. I have been using 400s for hunting with my Black Widow recurve. I wish they made something equal to 1916s for my #43 bows.
That's all I shoot, easy to get and cheap! The 2117's fly perfect out of my silvertip! Jason
They are cheap, $39.99 for a dozen shafts. I'm getting some 500s. Gonna stick 225 grains up front and go for it.
You can get Legacy , the Fall Stalker and the Camo Hunter in 1916. All made by Easton.
Yup Dave. I have some 1916 Legacys. I like the price of the Gamegetter shafts, though. The Legacys sure look nicer!
I just punched my "soon to be" arrows' setup in Stu Millers spine calculator and got the exact same number for the bow input and arrow input: 48.8
I shoot the 2117s and have no complaints.
I shoot the 500 out of my 47# longbows. I draw 29" and cut them to 30" and 125 up front.

Yes..I do have the newer black GG in the 340/2315 and like them.
yea shoot them. no complaints but i have bent a good many but im really rough on arrows so thats exspected i have also split an arrow the point went in the nock and stared down the shaft. that arrows are still both together
Good arrows. I shoot the 500s (2016s)
Ronp - did you try the 500s out of the #43 bow - they might work well.
No problems.
No problem with them. I shot one in half the other day though, which made me slightly unhappy, but it's a result of my groupings improving so I can't complain too much. They shoot straight and true and are consistent from one arrow to the next.
I ruined a couple 400s last summer. It's because they shoot well.

I shoot 2018's. good arrows.
Well...I get my arrows Tuesday. Ordering the rest of my stuff from 3rivers tonight so that I'll be ready to get them going.
I shoot 2216 Legacy shafts which I figure are similar to Gamegetters. I like them. They are consistant compared to wood.
i like game getters for my flu flus dig em man theyll getcha game
good shootin !
Get my arrows today, but my feathers and BH adapters haven't came in yet. I may just have to fletch some with some old feathers and stick a little field point up front just to get shooting.
I like camo hunters myself, but wish I could still get them with swaged nocks. I've never had a bad Easton aluminum arrow, so if you like the gamegetters go for it.
Not home yet to fletch and shoot.
I like 'em. Took this elk with an xx75 500 (2016) in Sept.

Calbow What poundage do you shoot? I am going back to aluminum and was going to get 2016's. I have a couple of XX78 2016's, and they shoot great. I have 6-8 2117's in autumn orange from years ago that I would like to try. I would shoot the 2016's out of my Bob Lee Hunter 50# @ 28. I also have a old Kodiak Mag 45# @ 28, maybe the 2117's would fly good out of that?
Finkm1: 2016's will shoot good out of your #50 lb..and you went the wrong way on the aluminum arrow spectrum for the #45 lb bow you'll need 1916's not 2117's..2117's would be too stiff.
I have the 500's also and they are my new favorites since i got them. Like everyone said they're cheap also.
They made my bow whisper quiet and I dont even have my heavy BH on yet!!
Game getters are great hunting arrows as you normally only shoot them a few times. They bend easier then the other aluminum shafts, but they also straighten easier. I would not use them for 3_D shoots but only because they bend easy.
Dwill I have not Fletched the 2117's yet. I have some from when I shot a PSE Pacer back in the 80's. I have shot ceder arrows for the last 5 years but am going to go to aluminum. In fact I am on my way to the archery shop after I get off Trad Gang to get a doz XX75's 2016.
