Not sure where to put this I also posted in collectables.
I have an alum arrow with a tapered point with slits in it for your broadhead blades 1 main and 1 bleeder Any help out there? I would sure like to know more.
			
			
			
				I think those slits are for blood drainage there was a thread about them. They were a gimmick I think.

				Sounds like one of the old TrueFlight arrows.  The "ferrule" and slots were pressed from the end of the shaft and the blades just clipped in.  I wasn't impressed.
