Got some 175 gr. Terminators on the way. Do I need to change the tips like on snuffers?
The last Terminators I bought came with pyramid tips. I don't know if they've always been that way, but if that's your preference it only takes a few seconds on a file.
Just wondered if it was needed based on the metals hardness.
3 Rivers advertises 50 Rockwell on the Woodsman Elite, which is the same head as the Terminator. Don't know how that compares to the old WWs.
They all come with the pyramid tips now. Great broadheads. I've taken one hog and three does with the same head.
VPA's and Elites are not the same. Very similar, but no the same. I've got both.
my experience with terminators- no modifications needed at all
I am actually wondering if the 175gr Terminators' tips were too rounded off from the factory. They should easily hold up but will that affect penetration ?

terminators, snuffers, woodsmans, all 3-blades - i always pyramid the tip, makes it stronger and a better bone breaker.
sharpen them and shoot them. incredible heads as they are, no matter what you are hunting.
olddogrib... the original woodsman heads were (are)44 rockwell
I can't complain about the craftsmanship on these heads. Spectacular! I've never been able get any other broadhead as sharp as I did these. Honestly scary sharp!
Just wait until you see the bloodtrail they leave, thats what really Scary!!!!! RW
