i havent used them but i sugest if you want to go into wood arrows place a wanted ad in the clasifiedes asking for unused used or old arrows. alot of times you might find an exstiemly geneous person who would donate them to ya. either way good luck

I bought a dozen a couple of years ago and killed a deer and a turkey with two of them. They were very nice shafts.

I bought a couple dozen years ago when I first got into Trad. I thought they made up pretty good arrows, plain but quite functional. Killed my first trad deer with one!  KYArcher

They are OK. They are matched by spine, but not by weight. So the weight variation in a dozen will be very wide. Weigh them yourself, or narrow the dozen down to the 6 or so that shoot the same and you have a pretty good deal for the price.

have never bought prefinished wood shafts or arrows.  it's SO easy to apply a sealer and finish to wood shafts.  minwax wipe-on or tru-oil wipe-on make for excellent wood finishes.  min-wax water based polyu does a great wipe-on job as well, and with almost zero odor.

What Rob said. It's a lot cheaper too!

Rob is right. I did get some very good prefinished at a good price from Lost nations last year, but they just had them in 60# or above spine. It is more fun doing them yourself.
