I had a longbow with a grip like a dream. But then the upper limb began to separate at a lamination. Then the lower limb too...
now I know the bow is done. But I was wondering if the riser was something that could be salvaged.
If so, who would you use?
Whip may be able to help. Sounds like a pretty sick bow. He is a sponser.

I would see how he could help.

Is it a 3 piece take down or a one piece? If a 3 piece, I'm sure many reputable bowyers could make you a new set of limbs. If it is a one piece, I'd hack off the limbs and send it to a bowyer and tell them that this is what you want the grip like on your new bow. I don't have a lot of bow building experience, having built a few for myself and friends, but I think it would likely be easier to just create a new riser like yours than to try to get the glue and laminations off the fadeouts and put it in a new glue up.
It is a one piece jweka...I was also considering that option.
just fit me way too well to let it die completely.
