What do you guys like better? What is warmer? Thanks. BILL
I haven't tried the fleece, but I don't think you can get much warmer than Wooltimate. I also think getting burrs out of fleece would be harder. They do stick to wooltimate, but are fairly easy to remove. I have both the jacket and the pants and they get a workout here every year. When the burrs are bad, I put a pair of unlined bucksuede pants over my wooltimate and an unlined saddle cloth jacket over the jacket...no burrs!
Sorry I can only answer half of your question. I looked at both and thought the Wooltimate looked better. I don't regret my decision.

I've got the berber jacket and pants. Love the warmth and complete silence of the material. 30coupe is right about burrs. If you are in an area full of stickers and burrs they can be pretty hard to get out of the fabric. If you are in a oak tree on a ridge, not a problem. I switch back and forth between berber, fleece, and KOM wool depending on temp. Like them all.
Hi I've got both.. The woolmate is way warmer. I wear the fleece in the early sept season and the woolmate when it is cold...
I have them both and prefer the Wooltimate.
Way too many burrs and junk where I hunt for the berber stuff. The wooltimate picks up some but they come off pretty easily. Have had the jacket for 3 years and it's really warm. Just got the pants yesterday. Supposed to be cold as heck this week, hopefully I can get away long enough to try em out.
WOOLTIMATE!! Brother it's great stuff.
So Rafael have you gotten all the Houndstongue out of your Wooltimate or have your burned them as suggested by our North Dakota rancher friend.
I had a post about cabelas wooltimate a couple days ago it went 4 pages search for it, it may help you some.
not tried the wooltimate but I hunted this week in 10 degrees in west tn and I stayed warm in the cabelas berber fleece.I would buy it again.
I used the wooltimate for the first time this year and really like it.
Berber in brown all the way best camo I use period
Cant beat the wooltimate for warmth! Jason
The berber is nice but burrs are a pain and it is just too bulky for bowhunting for me.
Waiting on UPS to pull up anytime with my Wooltimate jacket. Didn't order the pants because I think my wife got me a pair for Christmas (I think)....Phil
ive got the woltimate pullover coming, hope its snug enough to shoot with it on,and put my favorite camo on over it.
Got a Wooltimate vest from Cabelas this week. Only worn it a couple of times but I really like so far. Plus it was on sale for 49.99!!!

I picked up the vest earlier this season with all the pockets. I love it. I also got it on sale.
None of the other wooltimate stuff is a great fit for me since I wear XLT and have long arms. BUT, They had a Cabelas legacy wool shirt on sale in XL Tall and I got that, and it is great as well. They do not come in camo, but they do have red/black plaid.
The Wooltimate Vest is now my favorite piece of clothing for cold weather. Love the pockets, and it is very warm.
I've has that same combination slade for three years. The legacy wool shirt under the vest is a great combo.
I have a pair of wooltimate pants and a berber vest. The vest has wind stopper in it. Last night it was -12 when I got off stand and I wore the wooltimate pants but wore a wool vest instead of the berber vest. The pants and berber vest are warm garments but I think the wind stopper lining is slightly noisy (I may be a little paranoid though).
On a side note I have a Day One insulated jacket that I highly recommend.
Good hunting,
Greg
just got mine, the fit is very good for me as i dont like bulky clothes, shot my bow with it on and the string cleared real good.......i got the vest and the pullover...warm stuff
Berber with Windshear--way more comfortable and plenty warm!
Ditto with huntryx - i like the windshear and the berber is quiet and warm.
"The woolmate is way warmer "
I have the same, I was in -26 zero & I lasted
3 1/2 hr's and mine has the windshear and 93% wool.
Good stuff
Carl

Yep the post a couple of days ago sealed the deal for me.......just waiting for UPS guy
I have the Berber Fleece with Wind Sheer and it is very warm and not too bulky. I just wear a t-shirt underneath.
If I am in an area with a lot of burrs, I will usually wear a cotton t shirt on top.
I also use a compression sack to put it in, and it gets surprisingly small. And it's light.
I also have the wooltimate pants with wind sheer, and they are really warm too. They do seem to be a little bit heavier.
I have the wooltimate vest and absolutely love it and now I do believe the pants will be coming for Christmas from the mother-n-law...woohoo
