Ok,
I have seen several posts about the Fox Royal Crown recurve, what is the diff between it and the High Sierra? The website only shows the High Sierra.
Thanks,
Danny
Is there a Royal Crown recurve? I thought it was a longbow. They had a 1 piece recurve called a Maverick at one time I believe. I love my High Seirra.
Also, if you notice their web site hasn't been updated since 2007. Mr. King must be doing well enough without it.
Ah, maybe that is why I am confused,LOL. From the pics I have seen the riser looks like a recurve on the Royal so I assumed it was a curve.
Thanks Troy.
Danny
Ron and Debbie will respond to an inquiry from the site. I also love my High Sierra purchased in 1998.

Danny, Burnsie is right. The Royal Crown is a longbow with a recurve type grip, the High Sierra is their recurve.
The High Sierra is a very fine bow. Very comfortable grip with a bit of palm swell that helps set the bowhand the same from shot to shot. The limbs are tapered and quick. Fit and finish are second to none.
Danny, the Royal Crown is a R/D longbow with a medium grip. Nice bow.
The royal crown is the hunting version of his Triple Crown developed for a famous target archer from CA. I have one and can say it is the finest long bow I have ever owned. Ron and Deb are great people but for some reason their web site hasn't been updated. I also own A fox breed and a fox HS. Both great recurves
All of Ron's bows are fantastic, but I must admit I'm partial to the Royal Crown. Best shooting RD longbow I've come across.
If you like to deal with good folks thats
Ron and Debbie.
Here arde a few pics of the Royal Crown.

Is there a website?
foxarchery.com but it hasn't been updated since 2007. The crowns are not shown on the site. They were not produced until 2008. You can request a brochure which has the crowns in it. I have the Triple Crown, a D-shaped bow. The Royal Crown is a mild R/D bow. (http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k535/jhughes1818/FoxTripleCrown-6.jpg)
I have never shot a Royal Crown, but have a High Sierra 62" & 55@29. It's a very sweet shooting bow as well as a good looking bow. I agree Ron & Debbie are very nice people. I don't think you can go wrong with any Fox bow.
