Anyone own or shot one of these bows? What are your impressions?
Thanks,
Rick
I've ordered one without shooting one! Mine will be Macasser Ebony riser with Myrtle limbs...62"...with #58 limbs.
The reviews by Steve O. and based on what Brian has said about the bow (being as humble as he is) was enough guarantee for me. My TT recurve was better than they said so I have no doubt in the longbow. The moose are in trouble!...Ryan
I wonder what the performance difference is between Brian's T/D longbow and recurve ?
My impression was, "how in the heck can you make a bow LOOK like a D shaped longbow and do THAT!"
That being no hand shock and hybrid like, almost recurve like speed. My LB is supposed to be done for Kalamazoo--I'll do a side by side test for you Joe once I get it.
I was so impressed by the TT LB, there will be a triple carbon Vyperkhan going up for sale once I take delivery.
The grip, as with the recurve is excellent. Smaller in diameter and much lower wrist, but still puts your hand very comfortably in the same spot every time.
Nice to hear about the grip Steve...I love a low grip with a small diameter! How was the quietness compared to the RC?
Whisper quiet, just like the recurves.
Wow...selling the Viperkahn! That Tall Tines Longbow must be wicked!
Good luck with your new Tall Tines Steve!
I'll be waiting to see those pics!
Aloha!
Ryan
Sounds as if 'Steve O' had quite an experience by having the TT LB imprint an indelible mark on his traditional soul.
Friend, I am just glad I found Brian before anybody else...and have stayed on the deposit list
Thanks guys - any pictures?
