I'm looking for some advice on bow quivers. There is so many to choose from. looking at Selway, Eagles Flight, and Skookum. I want the leather broadhead cover and a two piece, but cannot decide which one to go with. I would appreciate you Guys' advice. Thanks!!
Wayde: I have a 4 arrow eagles flight I use on my Widow SA and My morrison recurve. It works well on both. The cover is a little tight with 3 woodsmans and a judo point. But they all do "just" fit.
It stays attached to the limbs very well.

You will get all kinds of answers, for sure, but I have really liked my selway 5 arrow quiver
You can't go wrong with a Selway (and Gordy Mickens is the kind of guy you'd like to hunt with or do business with).
I also like my Great Northern bowquiver.
And you might as well throw in the Kanati quiver by Anneewakee Archery while you are looking! :)
I don't have any experience with the Skookum, but the other two are quality quivers. The EFA is much lighter, even the jumbo size. The Selway will hold more arrows and longer broadheads. EFA does make one with a larger hood for longer broadheads like the El Grande Grizzlies.
I don't think you would be disappointed with either one. If you like the Selway style, but want leather rather than rawhide, Thunderhorn makes some good ones. I have a Linx, which I like because of the bar between the hood and arrow grabber, which keeps them from sliding on the limbs and allows me to slip the whole quiver full of arrows off and on the bow without razor sharp broadheads trying to escape. EFA now makes one with what they call a totem, which does the same thing. I made my own and modified my EFA Cherokee to the totem style. I used a carbon shaft that had had an accident ( :banghead: ) as my totem.
take a look at outcast traditions(a sponsor) they have a strap on that i'm very interested in . i'm test driving it now and works very well, beautiful wood, functional and well thought out.
if you want leather, john @ Anneewakee is great to deal with and product is superb.
eagleflight or bigjim got some listed in sponsers classifieds if you need pics.
Just bought two Kanati quiver by Anneewakee Archery for gifts.
There is NONE better than the Kanati's by John at Anneewakee archery.
Thunderhorn! I have the standard Boa, and I just got the Mini Boa 4 arrow. I like em, I think they are a good looking quiver, and they stay put. KYArcher
I've hunted with both the Selway and the Eagle Flight this season. Selway is a little heavier and handles the larger broadheads. Eagle Flight feels better on my HH bows. You can't go wrong with either. Both are of high quality made by good people.
I just got a Thundrhorn standard BOA about a month ago and am very satisfied, and the $ is right to.
Kanati quiver gets my vote polus John is a great guy to deal with and a sponser here.
Thunderhorn for me. Have Small fry's and the big ones. They are well made, look good and function as they should. The new Lynx looks great but I have not tried one as yet.
Where can I see the Thunderhorns. Can't find them on the sponsor page.
Love my Eagles Flight...so light you dont even know its there.
I really like my Selway side-mount. They are also great people to work with. I bought the quiver used from a fellow member here and he mistakenly said it was the 1/4" X 20 threads. But it was the 10-24 threads instead. So, I contacted Selway and Gordy told me to send him the quiver and he sent me a brand new one with the correct bolts! All I had to do was pay postage both ways. Amazing customer service even without me ever buying anything from them before.
I also gotta recommend Kanati strap-on quivers as well. They are a really well made, great quiver.
Kanati is a fine quiver. Great customer service!
I like the Eagles Flight Archery quivers! I have had 10 or 12 over the years! Don and Karen Ward are great people to deal with.
We make a wide variety of quivers at EFA. We started with our ultralightweight 3 arrow mini and 4 arrow maxi limb wrap models. Because of request from fellow archers/bowhunters we we have developed three additional models (apache, cherokee, and navajo) in several different sizes. We also have added limb bolt and side mount attachment systems and have added options such as our totem and wing systems.
Our goal has been to make the lightest possible quiver, using the best possible materials. We make 4 different sizes in the cherokee and navajo models, so you can get the right one for the broadheads that your using, but adding as little weight as possible.
I have included a photo showing some of our hood designs.

I love my thunderhorn BOA!
I say avoid anythign with velcro "if you intend to remove it in the woods" for obvious reasons. and theres two other types based on the fletching. theres the Great Northern type thats keeps your fletching very tight together in one group (my favorite) and theres the Selway type that fans out all the fletching in a row which for me got in the way when sitting and raising the bow.
I personally like having the option of removing my quivers in the woods if I needed to,, velcro is just way too loud so I will only use a quiver that has a very quiet mounting system like the Great Northern..
I need function over looks.
I enjoy my Great Northern
I just bought one of Big Jim's, it's top notch. Priced right as well..
i have always used great northern, strap on model for my one piece long bows and the bolt on model for the take down bows
I've been using the Thunderhorn Lynx Small fry! It's awesome
I love my thunder horn boa.It is a good price, durable, and holds a good amount of arrows. It is a tad bit heavy but that doesn't bother me a bit!
I also love the Thunderhorn Boa. I have several of them. I just got one of Big Jim's bow quivers,it's all I will use on my Longbows. Will not slide on the limbs, peroid!! Best longbow quiver I have used in 50 years.
