Title: Want to try longbows & recurves in Houston, TX

I am looking for a good place to go to try some longbows and recurves in the Houston/Galveston Area (I live in League City).  

I am left handed with a 30.5" draw length and worried about buying a bow without shooting it first.  Local pro shops have helped but the ones I have tried have had very few bows to try and limited trad archery knowledge, as compounds seem far more popular.
 
Currently practicing my form with an old Fleetwood 60" 35# fiberglass I bought for $3.

Any help is appreciated.

Bass Pro Shop has a archery range and they will let you try some bows there.

Call Viking Archery 713/771-1281 & tell them your predicament. Talk to either Scott or his brother. They'll direct you also.
