My favorite read this year:
TOXICATED, Treasury of Archery, by Fred Anderson.
Available at Raptor Archery.
It will sweep you away to bygone times. . .
The Wensel books mentioned above are outstanding. Mike Mitten's "One with the Wilderness" is a must read. Wensel's "Primal Dreams" is an intoxicating DVD. Fred Asbell's books "Instinctive Shooting" #1 and #2 are most informative. #2 has the best description I've ever read on how to hold and shoot the longbow. Happy Holidays.
Steve Gorr's Bowhunting Reflections and Bill Langer has a bunch of good DVDs. Both are sponsors here.
Langor dvds stay on at my house - big fan of the Fred Bear collection and Primael Dreams - and all wensel stuff for that matter. Mostly bored with most other stuff and really like when buddies film their own stuff.

Lettin Loose has been the best selling DVD at Three Rivers Archery two years in a row.
Go to the main page and go to the archives (half way down) and check out the links for some of the greats.
I am with bearbowman........ Doug has a great video. Also 25% of sale goes to a kids charity fund if I'm not mistaken. He is a heck of a nice guy. Just built my first bow with him this month and shot some with him. He is deadly with his bows.
My fellow Mountaineer Bearbowman has the dirt! Lettin Loose is a great DVD! You won't regret it!
"The Lost Antlers" best trad bowhunting video ever made in MLTHO.
Steve Gorr's Bowhunting Reflections is a good one.
Where can you find The Lost Antlers dvd. I haven't been able to find it?

cch: Here is one place that has it, $12.99. There is a schmucky second moose hunt on the flip side.
Oh yeah, the Tusker Broadhead guy has some great film-it-yourself videos. I like the Backpacking for boars and water buffalo disks.
Sounds like a new one that should top the list, "Essential Encounters".

x2. Terrific comes to mind.
Have to agree with the "The Lost Antlers" I have watched that DVD a ton of times. I have yet to have a DVD that is as good if not better.
Don Thomas has a new book coming out soon. 'Have Bow will Travel'. I sure it will be good. I have one already on order.
Stick Flipper is right about the 25% going to charity. I forgot about that. You can see it on the back corner but Doug has it real small so not to influence you when you are looking at the DVD.
