Ok with most our seasons about over who wins your MIK award for this season?
Mine has to be Dave Windauer's ram.

There are so many, but I have to vote for Biggie's moose. Any time you can get a moose to walk down a road so you can shoot it and then pull it out of the ditch with a winch you got to be one smart hunter. I got to say that left an impression on me.
Anybody tagging a coyote has pulled off something remarkable with trad equipment.
FerretWyo's elk is no slouch, either.
All those are fantastic, as have been all the trad trophies shared over the last couple months. I was pretty impressed with RC's squirrel from the chair as his leg healed. The smaller the target, the farther away, the more impressed I am.
Their all great animals but whitetails are my favorite. So I have to go with Uncle Barry's buck.

Could we get a story from each animal considered?
Since a bighorn is my dream beast, I'd photoshop my pic over Dave's.
My vote is for Mr. Mittens booner whitetail with a stone point. That's probably one of the most impressive feats I've ever heard of!...Ryan
Dang I forgot about that one. Both great whitetails.

Those are some fine animals but for impressive I have to go with Chris Shelton's 51yd Trophy Squirrel. :clapper:
Hang on a minute! Just wait till I get my boy and an apple.Do apples count :goldtooth: :archer2:
Mitten and Windauer for sure. Well except for the biggest doe contest winner I have going on here somewhere. By the way - big does still qualify until after the lights go out on January 1. I will pull the thread back to the top and see if anyone can get a BIG gal before 2010 is just a memory.
Bob Urban
Jeesh! I just saw Barry's buck on the Tall Tines website. That one's up there.....
awesome ram indeed!
the windaur ram gets my vote.
Dave gets my vote.
I'm torn between two different animals and both are rare to see taken on this site. They are the ram that is shown in the first post and the free-range buffalo that Bryce Olson shot in British Columbia, but since I have to pick one my vote is for the buffalo. They have always fascinated me. I wish he had a better picture.

i would have to say my vote goes to the ram!
I'd have to go with Mitten's stone point whitetail and Windaur's ram, with the buck getting the slightest of nods.
There was a tremendous amount of incredible animals killed and displayed this season.
Thanks to all who shared!

Randy's Giant Public Ground Bull!!!
Pretty hard decision:so many nice trophies and good hunters.
Everyone that has the Health to go Out hunting is the MIK I can think of, They also came back unhurt.
There are so many I am not sure that I could pick just one.
It has to be the doe that John Langley killed down south......Who?? Well..... O'Course that would be mine :clapper: :clapper: Ah shuck you guy are making me blush : :biglaugh:
I have to go with 10 year old Billy Langer as the youngest bowhunter to ever take an alligator with a longbow (in modern times).
Don't forget the Tahr taken by Ozzyshane. From everything I have read they are difficult to take with any hunting gear.
I would have to go with one of the many youth hunters that have harvested animals for the first time!!

Mike, I knew Randy's bull would come up. I was going back and forth between the two. Very impressive. I love to imagine myself being in either of their shoes, seeing what they were seeing as they were tightening the string on these magnificent critters.
(http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/dscn1445.jpg) This fella made me glad they didnt get too much bigger. I wade in those waters! :scared:
Hey, I have another one to throw out there.
There are not just a LOT of women who hunt with stickbows, we have one here that is pretty impressive.
No words needed.
God Bless,
Nathan

Michael's head shot on that boar at Solana, maybe not the coupe de grace, but the best shot I've seen all year.
Impressive.
Was that buck killed with a stickbow???
If so...were is the story...cause I missed it...and I wanna read it!
Aint no mistaking that buck for a HOSS, even if Tattoo from Fantasy Island was holding those antlers.
Hahahaha good one Iz.
PS. I didn't know Katie killed this deer when I voted. Can I have a re-do???
Killed with a muzzlelaoder fellas.....
What about Mr.Mittens Bison with a stone point in the new movie Essential Encounters. There are just to many "impresive" kills for me to vote. Each one with their own story and meaning.
I hate to have to pick one as all trad kills impress me, but Jack's buck at Solana is about as impressive as any. Not just the deer, but all that went into it. :campfire:
I can't remember the young man's name but the 9 yr old with his 1st deer was impressive.
God bless,Mudd
Lots of great kills this year, difficult to just pick one
id have to say Randys Big Elk was one that really impressed me!
No disputing he know's those elk and hunts hard!
Since I'm a certified elk-a-holic I have to go with Ferret or Randys bulls. They were both dandies.
Rams, elk, big bucks, bison, bears, turkeys or a yearling doe....all impressive to me!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
I'd have to go with the innovative Clint - and his two sharks!
I smoked a Yote in CO at a pretty good trot this past season, but Dave's ram is awesome. A Ram or Billy Goat with trad gear is on heck of an accomplishment I think.
