I started exchanging few PM with Steve Clandinin, around the Spring before my bear hunt in SAS.We are been able to meet in Saskatoon the very first day I arrived in Canada and it is been friendship at first sight,we talked for 3 hours without stopping like long time friends, schoolmates. We had the same interests and views of the life. The 3 hours passed too fast. Then we shared PM here and e-mails almost everyday. In September he hosted a pair of other TG members in Alberta with his son LEES,he posted the pics and story on PowWow.Everybody find Steve full of positive drive always happy and kind and very helpfull.Yesterday a package from Saskachewan arrived in the post office and inside there was a beautiful knife and holster that Steve made for me(I'll post the pics tomorrow)This guy is very talented and i remained astonished by the present and humbled by Steve's generosity.Buddy thank yoiu for this stunning skinner, but most of all thanks for your frienship.Felix
What Felix said, Steve is a stand up guy with a great attitude :) Friends, good ones are hard to come by......
OK !! Felix where's the pics :)

It seams as we get older and alot of our values change we start to cherish many things we took for granted when we were younger.
I really enjoy building things outdoor related, especially archery related and many times I feel differant people deserving of something, not because it is materialistic but because a person is genuine and its sort of my way of thanking them for being genuine. My buddy Felix is this kind of person.
I see posts ,many now,of young people starting our sport and looking for guidance and help. Our sport isn't just about shooting a bow,but about a lifestyle guided by our love for this sport.Of bygone days when friendships were real, money didn't matter and a handshake and your word were all that was needed.
I not sure but I think it was Terry Green who stated about our Website. Its not what Tradgang can do for you but what you can do for Tradgang.
I am pleased to see that Steve is getting a well deserved highlight here.
Never having met Steve in person doesn't mean I can't judge character when it's so self evident.
Kudos Steve! Take it like a man brother!!
All this means is... You are important to us and we love you!!
With the love of Christ
God bless,Mudd
Mudd,My feelings are mutual.it would be grand some day for a chance to sit around a campfire with so many great people on this site.
