Ignore the mess and tools :archer:
My Dad and I made this base over Thanksgiving. I am very lucky and thankful to have a Dad that is talented and willing to teach.

Looks sweeeet Randy
That's pretty cool randy. And would work well for those of us who don't have ten foot walls to hang one.
Chris
Nice buddy!
I love your room dude, bows, arrows, antlers, a demmel tool and box, and a teddy bear...what more could a guy ask for :clapper:

Chris
That is exactly why I came up with this idea.
Looks nice.
Nice job. How tippy is it? My kid got a nice bull this year, I'm not sure what he's planning on doing with it, but I'll forward this to him so he has another idea.
Eureka!!!
I've got low ceilings... now I know what to do with the big one I'm gonna get next year! ;)
Thanks for the idea! :clapper:
That is cooler than the other side of the pillow. Good job!
Great idea, looks great. Congrats
I did floor pedestals a couple years ago for a couple big caribou. Works well in spots where you have plenty of floor space but not so much wall space or low vaulted ceilings.
Randy
That turned out Sweet!!! Great idea and I just might steal it if you don't mind.
I have a Whitetail mounted the same way, looks great!!
SWEEEEEEEET!!!! I really like that!!!
Very cool!

Very nice!! Love those dark stained anters.
Cool!
Nice Job! Hard to come up with something unique with elk racks.
Very nice. Great way to make an elk mount fit in a room with 8 foot ceilings! Got to kill an elk first, though....
Randy, I saw pics of that bull in the highlights section and though, Wow that is nice. Now I see your unique mount and I think, Wow that is nice. :clapper:
SWEET!!!
Very nice! I didn't notice any tools, must have been distracted by the mount and all the antlers on the floor :biglaugh:
Very nice Randy! :readit:
Very nice work
That looks GREAT. Fine job, congrats!
  EXCELLENT :notworthy:
Very nice. Especially since your dad was involved.
That looks like the room of a single man. Ha ha...Congrats on the elk and nice mount.
Looks good Randy. Who did the "bleach" job? Think it would take a lot smaller unit to mount the pigs we shoot next month. Ha
Take care, see ya in Jan for the Triple Crown.
Sweet! Great idea! Now all I need is an Elk!
That looks good, Randy. Not that I've ever shot an elk that big, but I have wondered what kind of a mount would work if I should. I like that idea.
Very nice, my wife might even let some thing like that in the family room.
Sweet, I'm liking that mount. :bigsmyl:
BOB
that's my dream living room.
Wow really like it. Great idea.
dude thats awesome and the coolest part is whenever you look at it, you will remember making it with your pops
Randy, you and your dad make a great team whether it's hunting or mounting trophies.
Great job!!
Thanks for sharing with us.
God bless,Mudd
Boy I hope nobody trips around that! You may have to build a guardrail too.
Randy, that looks great. Do you think it could be modified for a traditional shoulder mount? I have a great mount hanging at the local sport shop but I might be able to get it in the house with a base like that!
Gene I did the cleaning and bleaching myself.
Mike I think that it could be set up to hold a mount really easy. I have an elk that is on pedestal.

Terry it is amazing how many people try to get my shedd collection. :biglaugh: I tell the kids that come over they can only pick one ha ha.
My raghorns fit fine on the wall. I will keep that design in mind in the event I ever luck into one that big. That is quite a bull and your mounts displays it very well. Congrats.
