Could someone tell me what a reverse handle is?
Thank you Burt.

Some people consider a reverse handle and a forward handle the same. Here is a good example of a reverse handle "grip".. After you pull the first picture up, click on the reverse handle and it will give you a strung profile picture. Hope this helps and maybe some other folks will jump in. :)
Yep that's it ,I have a Green Mt. longbow with a reverse handle, makes for a nice shooting bow.
Higher brace height and lower tork - love my Northern Mist.

here is another comparison... a pair I built this summer plus another forward riser I did last month:

I use a deep locator on my forward risers, gives it a real nice feel.
The general feeling is that the forward or reverse riser is more forgiving. I costs a couple of fps, but at least with that deep locator, it gives an extra inch of draw.
you think the first one was made by mistake?
Thank You. That helps alot.So would you consider the super shrew to be a reverse handle?
Burt
It just comes down to personal preference. I don't care how fast they shoot, how smooth the draw is or how quiet they are. Speaking only for myself, I find forward handle (reverse handle) bows ugly to look at. This turns me completely off to them.
Yes, Burt.
Thanks again for everyones help.
