Title: VPA Terminators
Post by: WndWker on November 30, 2010, 11:15:00 AM
Anyone have any experiece with the 150 grain VPA Terminators, compared to the 150 grain WW. I like the no vent construction on the VPA. It's hard to tell by the pictures are they a 3:1 ratio ?

I have the 175s - been trying to compare one of these to the original WWs to find a closest match?

To your question.

These terminators and the new woodsmans I think are shorter than the originals and have a wider cut when you go over the 150 mark. They have the specs of Kustom Kings website.

They are the same head, same company makes them.  The VPA Terminator is what 3-Rivers calls their Woodsman Elite series. Lower grain weights the heads are vented, starting around 150 - 160 gr. you can get a solid head. They are not a 3 to 1 ratio head. I use a VPA 250 gr. wide head with 50 gr. brass inserts on a GT shaft around 590 gr. total, shot from a 51 lb. recurve. you cannot beleive the the blood trails, tough heads, very easy to sharpen, I highly recommend them for a 3 blade head.  RW.
