I would like to try making my own footed shafts. My question is has any one used a footed shaft jig that was easy and accurate to use? If so where would I go to pick one up? I know that 3 rivers carry's them but I don't know how well they would work. Any information would be greatly apreciated.

Did you see the build along on making one?It might make you think about making one instead.

check out Gary and Connie Renfro,s new DVD on making footed shafts , incredible detail on making all the jigs ,tools needed, etc
