Title: HELLMAN LONGBOW??????

Don't know anything about the longbows but, I had a Hellman recurve about 5 years ago and it was a shooting son of a gun. It is the bow I have my hand on in the below pic. Couldn't find any info on the bowyer at the time so, I ended up giving it to a friend who wanted to get into trad archery. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but, if the longbow quality is anywhere near the recurve, it should be a good bow.

Frank Hellman made bows out of his shop in Deer River, MN about 5-7 years ago, something like that.  He was full time for a couple years.  Now I think he builds a few on the side.  Chad
