I 've had several people wanting me to build a takedown longbow, it's in the works, but still on the back burner. I am releasing the "Legend" instead. "The Legend" is available in three lengths, 58"-60"-62". I'm very excited with this current and newest design, I'm also very exited to see what the "GANG" thinks of 2011's Lost Creek. The first three people who order the Lost Creek "Legend" will get $100 off their order if they say they saw it advertised on "Tradgang". The bow will start at $550 shipped, clear glass, standard action wood handle, with standard limb wood choices. I shot this 58" 47@ 28" bow over the chrono with a 425 grain arrow, I was pulling the bow 28", my draw length, and it was shooting 197 fps on my chrono, which I believe is accurate. This is the fastest model I've designed to date. The Legend was designed with the purpose of being able to give the bow a larger and longer riser for more mass weight and accuracy. I also took out a little reflex to give it a greater draw force curve. This bow was designed to shoot fast and draw smooth, and it has both of these qualities. Thanks Chad

Dang Chad, you are making it hard for me not to buy another bow. If it is faster than your other models then I bet your chrono is correct. Besides the fact that your bows really smoke an arrow they are so forgiving of arrow spine, your grips are fantastic and your longbows are so easy to shoot where you look. I bet this model will be a winner.
New Update--- There is one more $100.00 promo-discount left on "The Legend". Also, still have several in-stock bows discounted for the x-mas season-- 1) RH 56" 53@28" Ebony riser, black glass, bamboo core $425.00 Shipped 2) LH 58" 50@28" Rosewood Dymondwood riser, black glass, bamboo limbs $375.00 Shipped
Nice looking bow there sir!
May I ask why the recurve was taken off of the website/ Just wondering if your still making it or not I personally really like it...Nice new bow as well.
I'm still making the Recurve, but I've had very low interest in the bow. I only built 15 recurves in almost two years. I guess I didn't really give it a fair chance. Its still avaliable by special order currently. Thanks Chad
Ok thanks Chad I have benn looking at getting a new recurve and really like the grip you had on one of the pics I saw aswell as overall design and have herd nothing but all good things..I will see about getting one later on in the year with holiday seasons now, depends on my finances thank you for the information.
