I have seen MOAB bows mentioned in good light a number of times here,, but I do not know what/who MOAB is...... so...
Built by Jim Reynolds of Thunderstick Archery. He's a sponsor on here. They shoot like a house of fire.
MOAB is short for 'Mother Of All Bows' ;)
Yes they do.

thanks guys I'll go look at them NOW
MOAB's are what other bows aspire to be when they grow up..... :bigsmyl:
All joking aside I have a 60" long MOAB, 55lb at 28" walnut and grey action wood riser, water fall bubinga limbs with moose antler tips, carmel colored bamboo limb cores. Its my favorite bow. Sometimes a bow just fits you like a glove. And Jim is a top notch guy in my book. Moab's are highly recomended by all that shoot them.
wish I had mine back
Just ask Terry Green..I believe he has 4,or 5 of them. Heard nothing but ngood things about them
I'll second that.
My MOAB is my go to bow.
One of the finest bows Ive ever shot.Suuuuper smoooooth!
I wouldn't advise going to look and don't speak of them again or you stand a great chance of coming down with MOAB fever.
There has been more than one from Tradgang that have had to deal with the "fever". Once you get it, there's only one known cure.
Get one of your own!!
God bless,Mudd
I just got the call the other day that my MOAB is close to being done. Check is in the perverbial... well actual mail. This one coming will be my 5th MOAB, all 60", and between 55# and 68# @ 29".
Great shooting bows, and the quietest high performance bow I have ever shot.

Mudd,
Apparently just one won't cure the "fever". It's like rabies, takes multiple treatments.
They are great bows. I had one I wish I still owned.
Guess I'm gonna find out. Just bought a used lh 60" 54@28" from Barry Loving.
any of the bows i have ever had have been previously owned, including a moab i had to sell when the economy took a turn for the worse and i lost my job. that being said, i was finally in a position to have a bow made specificaly for me a few months ago, and sent in a deposit. that bow is a jim reynolds moab. 'nuff said----.
?? how long is the weight??
6-8 Months my sons x-mass present should be done soon.
Do they have much of a shelf to shoot off of?
I was just at a shop in Michigan and looked at about 5 or 6 new MOAB's on the rack. I think there was on 62" and the rest were 60" bow. One was 40# and the rest 50-60#. All real nice. They also had a TS 3 and three mag's. I had to get out of there quick. There were a couple low 50# bows that were knock outs.

Just the right width I think. Not too wide or skinny.
I have 2 MOABs, getting ready to order #3. My first was very basic dimondwood riser, bamboo limbs. Nothin fancy, just for huntin.
My 2nd is the finest version Jim makes. #3 is gonna be somewhere in between, easy on the eyes yet rugged enough for elk hunting.
Aldo have a TS3 and my son has a Mag. All are fine shootin bows, but the MOAB is truly worthy of its name.
