I am not sure if anyone made a thread like this yet, but I think it would be fun to share what we are thankful for to get into the Thanksgiving and coming Christmas holiday
I'll start it off of course, I am thankful for such a close knit family and good friends. I am also thankful for all the cool tradgangers out there that have such a big heart! The give aways, the knowledge and respect is second to none! God bless!
I'm thankful for a gracious and merciful God, a loving Saviour, a wonderful wife, two wonderful children and the blessing of 8 super grandchildren. And I'm also thankful for the blessing of a great church with an outstanding Pastor and preacher and a kind and loving church family.

I am thankful to God for always being there for us. I am thankful for my wife and 3 year old son. I wouldn't know what to do with out them.
Radical R/D longbows, carbon limbs and arrows, skinny strings, and BIG whitetail bucks (especially those who walk by my treestands)!
Not enough memory on this board server for all the thanks I and everyone should type.
But a wonderful wife of 26 years, two healthy children (although they sometimes try to put me in an early grave), My parents are still around for me to bug, and Grace given by our Lord.
I could go on and on.
I am thankful for finding archery again after a long absence. Finding this site was icing on the cake. The wonderful users on here whose interaction I've learned quickly to hold dear is double icing. And the freedom and liberty to have it all by living in the USA and the troops who insure it stays that way.
Again....not enough memory on the server for this website....
Enjoy your Holidays all.

WORKS FOR ME
I am thankful for God, a loving wife that puts up with the constant deployments, and beautiful daughter. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, hope everyone is around family and friends this holiday.
I'm thankful for the Word of God, The spirit of God, The love of God, His mercy and his Grace.
I am thankful that somehow He saw fit to save me and love me.
I am thankful for a continual and growing relationship with him.
After that I am thankful for Family, My loving wife of 46 years. My Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.
After that I am thankful for his gifting and provisioning.
I could fill this computer with the wonderful gifts of God in the Spirit, In the Flesh , and in the things of this life.
I do have to begin with the Word of God though because without that I would not know him as I do.
God Bless you all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving,. Steve
I am thankful for a loving and understanding wife and the expected birth of our daughter on Monday. I pray that she is healthy and vibrant and that I am wise in raising her. I have faced a lot of challenges through life, no different than most of you all, and I am anxious...even scared of the challenges ahead of me.
I am also thankful of my divorce from my first wife several years ago...without that, we both would still be miserable.

Iam thankful for a great country that we live in that gives us the freedoms that we have like hunting. Thank our wonderful god for the young men and women sacrificing so much so we can keep these freedoms. May God watch over them and bring all of them home safely, soon hopefully.
I am Thankful for everything.
for family, god, health, and the chance to go back to the woods!!!
First I'm Thankful for my Lord and Savior for what He has done in my life. For a wife who has stood by me and raised 2 wonderful kids with me working away from home half of their lives. I'm Thankful for the two other kids I have thru the marriage of my kids and for the fact that all four of them have been born again. I'm thankful for the three grandkids we have now who fill our time and our hearts with much joy. I thank God daily for a whole host of other things we have and for the things we DON'T have as well. But it is at this time of year that I am drawn to praying for our Men and women who are fighting for us all over the world. I'm Thankful for their commitment to the freedom we sometimes take for granted and without much thought. The cost of our salvation and the cost of our freedom were bought by the only two types who would give their lives for you. Christ and the soldier. For that I am able to enjoy live as I know it here and life after this old body dies. Thank you all who have served this country as Soldiers both physically and spiritually. This is what I'm THANKFUL for!!!! God bless you all.......Dusty
Thankful I'm walking on the grass instead of pushing it up.

Hi All,
I'm thankful that God allowed me to live long enough to see the errors of my ways.
I'm thankful for a wonderful wife....I looked for nineteen years before I found her.
I'm thankful that I live in a spectacular piece of God's handiwork where I can still see the wild-ness regularly.
forgiveness
First and foremost my Savior, Jesus Christ and my family.
Things like this recent e-mail from my now 23 year old son really hit home:
love you lots, and cant wait to be home in a month! thank you for
everything you do for me. and have done my whole life, youre the best
father a boy could ask for. i really missed being able to go hunting
with you this year more than anything. i miss you waking zach and i up
at the crack of dawn with the sound of a bugle, i missed the freezing
cold november mornings trekking around the hills of the big hole, not
wanting to get out of sight from you because i was scared of mountain
lions. i cant wait till we can do it again, and until i have kids and
they're grampa can take them hunting just like mine did. hunting camp
with you and papa and zach are some of the best memories i will ever
have, the most vivid and i will truly cherish them forever. i hope we
can make some new ones next season.
i love you,
Corey
Have a great Thanksgiving all.

Most of all I am thankful for family, friends, and grace to make it through this world.
On the archery side of things I'm thankful for a Browning Wasp recurve that got this all started 16 years ago, and a great brother Christopher and wonderful friends like Charlie, Tom, Gary, and many others on TradGang that I haven't met yet.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
i am thankful for my great family and friends.i am thankful for all the guys and gals that i have found on this site.i love all of you.thank you and happy holidays, steve
Faith in Jesus Christ, family by my side, a home to
live in, a nation of freedoms, friends around the campfire,a cabin in the mountains, trout in the stream, long beards on the mountain and deer in the meadows....all are priceless!!!
At my age I am happy to wake up in the morning and thankful for health and family. Does that include bows and bowhunting too?
Oh yeah musn't forget the Internet.
My family and faith, of course, as you'd suspect, and my employers who are a fantastic bunch of guys
And then there's my passion- it's brought me lifelong bonds of friendship and cameraderie with so many great people- who through all the twists and turns of life have been there- stalwart and true. It's also taught me life lessons so invaluable in every step I've taken in and out of the woods- planning, perseverance, patience, and given me such pleasure and adventure beyond most peoples imagination-
The northern lights- sunsets on mountainsides and in the southern swamps, night skies when I didn't think I could even see all the stars there, let alone attempt to count them, wonderful sights of nature as God intended- grizzly and black bears, elk, muley, pronghorn, moose. A lynx- a wolverine- a few mountain lions, a white wolf.
A coopers hawk landing on my bow hanger, a painted bunting on my bowtip, an owl catching a squirrel- a gobbler walking into my boot- too many exciting or interesting or curious things to mention even a few.
But through it all it's the people My mind connects with many of those experiences I feel thankful for!
Like a lot of the posts Forgiveness through Christ, family, a job, our freedoms, and those who have served to preserve those, and the enjoyment of outdoor pursuits.
God, family, friends, country, and the Corps.
Many other events and things to mention.
Earl
Even though I was yet a sinner He loved me....thank you Lord for never giving up on me and not turning your back on me.
Thankful for a wonderful woman He led me to and who married me and made a an honest man showing me true love and putting up with me. Also for the two beautiful daughters that God blessed us with. From them came 2 good men to marry, love and care for them. From that I am thankful for the 2 grandkids that He blessed us with.
I am thankful for so much. Each day I wake and give thanks to all He has provided and blessed me with.
Things I'm Thankful for I am Thankful for my Lord Jesus Christ, with him all things are possible. I'm Thankful for my wife Peggy, because she completes me. I'm Thankful for my son and daughter and the ones they married. I'm thankful for my granddaughters for they are truely a gift from God. I'm Thankful for my ability to still draw a traditional bow.
Happy Thankgiving >>>--------> Travel Safe
I am thankful that I had loving and tough grandparents who raised me. I am also thankful for my family and being born in this country or at least the country that it can be again. I am thankful to have served my country, and most of all for my creator who sent his son for me.
I'm thankful to be alive after having a heart attack and quadruple bypass 3 months ago. I'm very thankful for the love and support of my family and friends during my recovery. I've always been kind of a loner, spend a lot of time by myself in the mountains, but I now realize I have more friends than I realized.
I am thankful for the Good and the Bad - as both are necessary to mould us into the individuals that God wants us to become...the best version of ourselves....
I am thankful for being created with a heart that is both giving and forgiving....
Thanks be to God!
Happy Thanksgiving!
