Title: Ground Blinds
Post by: Bob Moran on November 20, 2010, 08:13:00 PM
I'm considering a ground blind, but I've had no experience with them.  I'd be shooting a 60" recurve out of it.  I'd appreciate your first hand experiences with bow hunting out of a ground blind.  Thanks.

search 1 ground blinds (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=095450#000003)
  search 2 ground blinds (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=095669#000009)
  search 3 ground blinds (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=095669#000009)

You would probably get a better response if this was posted on Powwow.  i posted a few searches for you to get started. You can use the search function for more also by clicking on the search button right below the ads.  Type in Best ground blind and highlight powwow, then hit return.  i only have personal experience with the double bull matrix recurve model.  It is big enough for at least a 64 inch bow. Hope this helps.    :)

You can build your own. Here are a couple I've made and use.

You will have to look close to find this one in the grass. It's a mirror fronted blind and it just reflects what's directly in front of it on the ground.

i just got a double bull dark horse recurve. i had trouble learning to set it up (nothing like the video shows). now i set it up in about one minute. i shoot a 60" recurve out of it with no problem at all. i'm very happy with the blind.

Hey Mudd, if you turn that stool in your first pic over, it's a lot more comfortable.

Nice looking blinds...

I build my own from whats out in the woods,it's cheap and nobody wants to steal it! takes less than an hour on a Sunday mornin and you can hunt it Monday mornin. And the camo pattern matches every time. The more you build them the more you see what you need to do to make them perfect.I prefer a horseshoe style in front of a group of trees so my sides are covered and I can enter from the back with out notice.
