What broadhead adapters are you using for the big 11/32" Zwickey Deltas? Does anyone know of a source for Sweetland extra long broadhead adapters? Thanks for any help!
I am shooting them on my carbons this year. I have been using the steel 125 grain screw in adapters and they fit fine as do the aluminum adapters that I bought from Braveheart.
I shoot them on Carbons as well, I use the sweetland 42 gr aluminum adapters.
I have used the long and short Alum. adapters with the deltas. Got mine from 3-Rivers.
I use them on 2016 @ 27 inches with the long glue-in adapters. They work well with my set-up. I do the same with grizzlies and woodsmen.
I used to go with the Flightmate adapters. Kustom King sells them as "glue-in/glue-on" adapters.
You need the 36gr xtra long,or the steel adapters. You can get them at F&S arrows.
Long adapter for my Eskimo and 2219.You can find them virtually everywhere,it is one of those things that most archery shops, also the one that sell training wheels, carry.
Long adapters on my Zwickeys with my foam filled 29.5 " 2117's from 3 Rivers.
Thanks for the replies! I'm still looking for a source for the Sweetland 11/32" extra-long non "Hollow Point" screw in adapters.
Check Archery Past Dave should be take care of you.
I quit shooting aluminums years ago....but still used the same adapters on my Zwickeys....but adapters have changed a bit in design.
I buy in bulk.....by the 100....I think the last 100 I bough were from 3 Rivers. The longs I use are 42 grains.
i bought mine from bob hildenbrand they came from three riveres they are one pc aluminum . it makes the shaft and arrow as close to one pc as possible. it eliminates the small shank that is used in an insert . good product .i am using them on 2117 and magnus heads
I'm still looking for the Sweetland extra long adapters. These are no longer being made according to the person I spoke to at Zwickey. Dave at Achery Past didn't have any either. Thses adapters weight 51 grains and are long enough to fill the gap on a four blade Delta that is made in the ferrule where the bleeder blade were punched. Below is a picture of what I'm looking for. If somebody has some of these that they will no longer use I would like to buy them. Thanks guys!

""These adapters weight 51 grains and are long enough to fill the gap on a four blade Delta that is made in the ferrule where the bleeder blade were punched.""
Yes....that's what long adapters do....all the ones I've been buying since the 80s have filled up the gap you are talking about.
black widow sells a solid long adapter i believe its like 42 grains i dont like the hollow ones..
the ones from three rivers are close to the sweetland but a tad shorter . why do you need the whole taper filed up the main thing is they are a tight fit no gaps of glue around the sides etc .with the broadhead adapters from three rivers they are stronger because they eliminate the screw in end that is the weak point .
I shoot deltas on 2018 aluminums. I use the long glue in - glue on adapters. To increase front end weight, I like to add rolled up lead split shot to the hollow part of the adapters and use two part epoxy to hold it in place. Havn't had any failures in three years of doing this. I can add just the right amount of lead to make each arrow match in weight almost to exact amounts, usually within 2-3 grains.
