A few months ago Jeff a good friend of ours told me about a little girl and her dad down in South Texas. Her dad was just getting into trad and Jeff gave him a WindTalker he had from years ago. The little girl had a hand me down bow that was too heavy.
Well a love affair started. All she wants too do is shoot. Instead of rock posters on her wall she had Rod's shot sequence printed nicely on her closet door.
Well we couldn't let this special little girl struggle with a too heavy bow.
SOOOOOOOO, Jeff came up with some Birdseye maple, we laminated some coco in the middle and found a likely set of bamboo lams. Next thing you know we had a Phoenix Lite done that was just the right weight.
I think she likes it!!

Very nice. Looks like a very happy young lady and it should definitely help her shooting to have a correct poundage bow.
Very nice.
Heard from her dad last night. He ordered her some new arrows from Big Jim but was complaining that the little bow shot his hunting weight arrows almost as fast as his bow. LOL
Mike

It's always awesome to read about how there is still good in the world!! Great job man!!
As always Mike, ya' done real good!
Good deal, you two are first class. The expression on her face says it all.
Thanks guys, yall are a class act! The only problem is next time I go south she will be out shooting me!
Mike, considering this time of the year, and back before you burned off those extra pounds, I might have said your behavior befits a man who wears a red and white cap and who keeps reindeer as pets! Now since I can't outrun you anymore, I'll not make any physical comparisons between you and that far North dwelling dude. Except that both of you have the same heart. That "Phoenix lite" bow you made the young lady is a fine example of old Saint Nick's generosity, and that great bow story is what the Holiday Season is all about. Happy Holidays to you, Connie, Jason and all your family. John
