Title: A&H Archery Thanksgiving Sale - LAST DAY
Post by: John Havard on November 16, 2010, 10:14:00 AM
We did the same thing last year as a way to let our customers celebrate the holidays.   Here's the announcement from our website:  A&H Archery will be having a Thanksgiving holiday sale. November 24-26, in stock bows, limbs and risers will be 15% off and 10% off new orders.

Also, in the "what's new" category we're now offering special bamboo limb cores as an option in our various limbs.  Tonkin bamboo can now be ordered and based on the few tests we've done up to this point the bamboo adds a bit more zip and zoom.

Finally, the folks who have gotten one of our new short bows in either 3PTD or 1P have been raving about them.  After three years of design and testing the end result is proving to be well worth the effort.

For more info contact the shop and get the details from Dan.

saltwatertom,

yes, Larry is designing a 2P longbow system currently.  We should have it ready for market fairly soon.

Casey, the 2P is going to be really nice.  An all-carbon 2P is also on the drawing board.  Imagine that!

Thanks John, I am really looking forward to seeing the 2plb. I don't like collecting bows, but a 2plb will be my next bow.

Hey Tom,

You don't by any chance run charter boats out of Homer do you?  I've spent quite a few happy days chasing halibut out of your home town.

John, no I don't run a charter boat, but I do have acess to a boat and have a few friends that do run chaters. Give a hollar next time you are in town and we can meet. There's lots of bears here to hunt if you are interested.     ;)      :archer2:

Tom, I'd love to chase a black bear some day.  The last time I hunted black bears in your general neck of the woods was out of Port Dick in the headwaters of the fjord there (over on the Pacific side).  We got two very nice ones but that has been several years ago.

Friend, thanks for the comment.

That little 3PTD was the culmination of about 3 years of experimentation and R&D.  Developing a short bow that performs on par with our longer bows was not easy, but the end result has been worth the effort.

Bjorn, the new bamboo we're offering is a real treat and ups the ante just a bit.  In fact, the most impressive test results I've ever seen were from a set of limbs made with this new stuff.  I think you'll really like them a lot.
