Lord, that's pretty!
Killdeer
Lord, Lord, that's pretty. Sometimes I miss being back up North. (nut)
Excellent pics. I imagine sitting that stand is a real stress-buster.
Great pics,thanks for sharing!!!
Great pics Curt.RC
Beautiful pictures sir!
thanks Kurt
Excellent photos Curt! Thanks for sharing that with us.
Thanks for sharing Guru, truly beautiful.
Gorgeous photos.
That looks like a real nice bench to be on and when the train goes by you can get away with murder.Beautiful pics. Good place to be with God.
Nice. The thing I like about your pictures, Curt, is that they paint a picture of a New York I never imagined existed (it's a pretty popular place in movies, and only the threat of losing a limb prevents some students from writing narratives in which the bad guys chased them, aliens zapped the bad guys, they won the lottery and moved to New York [rarely {if ever} do they specify state or city]). Good hunting, mate.
Those are the views that keep a person coming back time after time. The anticipation, beauty and the excitement of things to come on a fall morning.
Beautiful Pics Guru. Where on the Hudson is that. From the width looks to be a good ways downstate.
My in laws live near Stewart AFB and seems like there are a ton of deer and even black bear there.
That's awesome! You ever wanna just fling an arrow into the calm water to see a) how far you can shoot and b) of course like all kids we want to see calm water messed up!
Makes it worth getting up early.
:coffee:
Very Very nice. Curt you have a way of making us feel like we are sitting there with you.
Do you need a cammera man??
Nice Curt!
Great pic!
Beautiful Curt. River bottoms are some of my favorite places to hunt. I think deer stack up against them.
No 747's landed there that morning did they???
Thanks for sharing Curt.Yes this is a view of NYC that I have never seen.
Man! Your spot's prettier than mine! I'm in the saddle of a couple of hills (between the Catskills and the Adirondacks) and can't see anything but woodlot and brush.
I went on a couple canoe/camp/hunts in the Adirondacks and had a spot 30 yards from a lake edge. Just the nicest spot to watch the day begin (and end). Except the one morning the geese layed-over and I couldn't hear myself think! HONK, HONK, HONK!
Thanks for the images. Parts of the Hudson Valley are as pretty as nature gets.
How often do you get a train? ;-)
Where are all the sky scrapers? Best pictures I've ever seen of the Hudson. Thanks for sharing.
Geeze guys! Greater NYC is over half of the population but only 1/2 of 1% of the area of New York State. The OTHER 54,000 square miles here in NY are pretty nice. We blame the proximity to New Jersey for what happens in that SE corner of the state.
There's 99.5% more to NY State than what you saw on Seinfeld; and we like to think it's the better half. ;-) The Hudson River is over 300 miles long and parallels the Vermont border for about half of that.
On the other hand . . . stay away. It's crowded and awful here. ;-)

Great pics Curt......
David
Theres a reason why there was a group of artists known as the Hudson Valley School....Phil
Great pics Curt. Where are you at in those?
Rockland, Orange and Sullivan Co's were part of my playground as a kid. I grew up in Jersey but could darn near throw a rock into NY State. Lots of deer, woodcock and ducks.....
The scenery is beautiful and most of the residents of Manhattan don't know about or even care.... They are vertical............ Thats OK.. keeps them on the "island".
Neat pics Curt. By the position of the sun and your proximity to train tracks, I would guess you were near Newburgh on the western shore of the Hudson. I dont recall tracks farther North than Highland. Then again I have been way off before.
Say, is that where you found that pretty Coyote last year?
 Nice!
Great pics Curt! :)
A whole lot nicer view than the one we shared outside last winter.
Nice, Curt was sending me pics. from his cell phone on that sit. He had a bargegoing up the river and one with I believe a train and ship in same shot. Great pics. bud!! Shawn
