Had him at 30 yards through some brush on tuesday and havent seen him since. This is the only pic in existance to date. He heard me reposition in my ground blind and I heard him stomp or I would have never known he was there. I watched him for 5 minutes at 200yds. I cant sleep now! Hope the next pics of him have a bow in the pic.

Wow his neck is huge. Would hate to make him made right now.
Really cool pic and a beautiful buck! Good Luck !!
Whoo, I hope your dreams become reality.
Beautiful specimen. The thing dreams and nightmares are made of...
looks like a postcard!
Wowzer! All that and out in the open! There'd be 32 stopped pick-em-up trucks with rifles blazing away if he crossed a field hereabouts - and we're not even in rifle country.
Wow! Best of luck to you.
That pic is just as much a trophy as the buck dead would be. I'm getting soft in old age, I like hunting with my trail cameras just as much as the real thing. Good luck getting him. You should enter that pic in some photo contests.
Travis

Oh I dont need any support on that. I mentioned that very thing to my fiance and she drew the line! No, she really just doesnt want me to get him till next weekend when she can sit with me. I think I would be satisfied just to see him a few more times times.

Yes, it is kansas. I only have canyons filled with cedas and thickets on the property I hunt. There are some nearby wheat fields but I am in rough country.
A classic example of what deer dreams are made of.
Just a chance to see him again would be quite fulfilling.
Best of luck.
My Jaw literally dropped!
look at that NECK...jeez
Wow that is a big deer. Any idea how old he is?
What a deer!!! Get after that one!
Go get him, and Good luck!
:archer2:
5.5 if he is the deer I think he might be. But I really dont think it is the same buck so to be safe at least 5.5 to 6.5! Either way he is old enough. Or do you think I should let him grow a year? Yeah right. Im on him in the morning!
Good luck on gettin that brute! That pic looks like a classic calendar pic to me, stud deer, nice back ground, excellent picture!
Great pic of a real dandy.Good luck.
Great pic and great deer, good luck!
That pic is awesome! Good luck!
I had that happen last year. My dad saw him still alive the last day of rifle season so I'm still dreaming about him for this year... although he hasn't been seen yet.
Great looking buck
Yow! Good luck - hope ya get him.
Gorgeous buck in beautiful country, enjoy it all and good luck.
Man that is sick!
I'd be happy just to get a picture of that in my trail cam :-)
Good Luck!!!

Just to keep you all up to speed. I have not spotted him since tuesday. The action is pretty hot now and he might be on lockdown. I have moved another camera over some scrapes around to try to catch him again. I have set high on a hill just to watch for him for 2 days now. I have seen some real nice bucks but not that compare to him. He will be tough. When he left that day he knew something was not right but only went a couple hundred yards and stopped. I hope he wasnt too bugered and left for good.
