I draw 30" and am shooting a BW psa 45# at 28". I shoot a carbon express arrow 250 full length with a 50 grain brass insert and 125 grain head. Bare shafted this set up and shoots great. Started with carbon express 150 but found them to be spined to weak.
30 in draw
predator custom 51@28 so around 56-57 at 30
gt 55-75 30.5 long 100 grain insert 125 broadhead
fast and hard hitting
30" draw, Elburg Jaguar Special longbow, 64" long with Gold Tip 5575, full length [32"] with a 100 grain brass insert and an old bear greenie, screw in with the razor installed.
29.5 draw- predator classic 53# at 28, 59 at my draw. shooting 30.5 easton FMJ 400s with 75gr inserts and 150gr razorcaps broadheads. I am using 5"- tall cut feathers.
The setup I use which would be similar to yours...
I draw just over 30"...64" Wes Wallace Mentor ...56lbs at my draw.. 55/75 Gold Tip full 32" length..50 gr brass insert, 145gr Zephyr Scirocco 2 blade
30.5 to 31" draw:
Saluki Ibex, 53@30, 31"BOP 2020, 125 grain point
7 Lakes Long Night, 53@30, 31" BOP 2018, 125 grain point. Same arrow for 56@30 Liberty Contender and 51@29 Blacktail longbow.
30" draw, Damon-Howatt Dreamcatcher (Martin), 55#@28" measured to 61# at 30", 23/64" dia. 65-70# spine, 30.5" BOP Port Orford Cedar shafts, Mercury Speed nocks, 125 gr RibTek broadheads ("S" variety), blunts & fieldpoints, 5" three fletch (LW) turkey feathers. Calf-hair KantPinch tab.
When I get fancy I put a 12" rear taper on the shafts down to a 5/16" nock.
29.5" draw 64" Brackenbury Legend cut 3/16 past center 58# at 29.5"
31" 2216 with a 125 gr. point is about perfect.

I like the 2020 on the aluminum if you draw 30 in and shoot 55-58.
CX Heritage 250 with around 200 grains up front cut to 31".50 grain brass insert is good with a 125 or 150grain head.
31" draw
64" Schafer, 54# @ 30
Bear weather rest
32"Beman ICS 400
100gr brass inserts
130gr STOS
5" feathers
55#@32" Swamprooter recurve, 350 Heritage shafts, 125gr Muzzy Phantom heads.
you shouldn't worry, if your bare shaft/feathered+point/feathered with BH shaft is good.
calculator is only to have a "fair" view of your needs but fine tuning is always needed. Some will be dead on with the calculators but some will need up to 5-10# more or less DS in "real life".
Final "individual" dynamic spine is also a matter of release, of exact drawlenght and exact bow pounds etc...
62" Fatal Styk, 54# @ 30, I draw 30. I shoot CE Heritage 250, 150 grain points and 3 gr per inch tubes, FF string, standard inserts and nocks. Bow is cut 3/16 beyond center, that matters much.
I have a 29.5" draw and my Caribow Peragrin longbow is 55 or 57# at that draw. I shoot Heritage 250's cut to 30.5" with a 100gr brass insert and 150 grain stingers. I also shoot the same arrows out of my Brackenbury Quest drawing 55#@29.5".
29.5" draw
50# - 58# bows
Bow lengths: 54", 56" 60"
Arrow Setup:
31.5" Carbon Express, Heritage 250 arrows
8" length of wrap under the fletch
1" length of reflective tape over the wrap
(3) 5" fletch held in place by fletch tape
75 gain brass insert
125 gain Woodsman broadhead with 75 grain steel screw in adapter
Total arrow weight 650 grains
I use this arrow setup with all of my bows
56@29 Schafer Silvertip, easton 2213 and 125gr four blade magnus.
64" Toelke whips. One is 54#@28" and the other is 54#@30". My draw is 30 1/8". Both are cut to center. I have the best luck with the Easton Axis 500 spine arrows with the 75gr brass inserts using 145-150gr tips. I use 3-4" long shield cut feathers on these. I can't remember the overall length off the top of my head but they have only been trimmed 1/4"(probably didn't need to trim them at all). I also have great luck with the AD Trads(not the lites). I shoot these full length with 100 gr inserts, 145-200 gr tips, 3-5" shield cut feathers and aluminum nock adapters with the G-nocks. They don't shoot as flat or fast as the Eastons but they fly straight and hit like a hammer! They're quiet too!
Dave
68" Mohawk D bow, 50# @ 30", 7" brace height, 3 fingers under, cut 3/16" before center (includes shelf plate), nock point 5/8", Beman 340 ICS Classics 31.75", 3 5" shield cut feathers, 100 grain brass insert, 185 grain point.
29.5" draw. I shoot a 30 1/4" GT 5575 with 100 gr. brass insert and 100 gr. head out of my 60" MOAB and my Fire Fly. I shoot the same arrow with 125 gr. head out of my 62" MOAB due to it being cut out from center more than the other bows. I am also shooting about the same arrow in a Beman hunter, but it is kind of light for my liking.
I am working with some CE250's shooting them at 31" with 100 gr. brass and I think 125 or 145 points. This doesn't calculate right, but it is flying right on for spine with the GT and Beman.
Bow weights at my draw length are listed in my signature line.
29.5" draw, on a Palmer takedown 50@28, so right around 57-58 at full draw. I shoot 23/64's weighing in at right around 500grs(full lenght) spined at 70-75, cut to a little over 30.5". I order them from Jim Curlee I think from Minnesota. Crested and full length dipped. Use Ace 160's with 5" LW. Hope this helps if you're looking at using wood!
64" Tolke Super-D. 54@28" I draw 30". Beman black max 500 and 125 grain Magnus stinger 4 blades. I am gonna work up a heavier arrow but had these and they shoot real nice. Can't imagine the bow being much quieter but I like 10 grains per pound. I think I could get by with the same arrow and 100 grain insert which would make it close to 10 gpp.
60" Silvertip 54# at 28" draw to 30. I shoot 2117's full length with a 125grn muzzy phantom. I get perfect flight with this setup if I do my part! Jason
I have a 29.5" draw. I shoot either a Roy Hall Caddo Longbow 62" 54#@28 or a Bob Lee Hunter Recurve 62" 50#@28". I shoot the same arrows in both bows and both bows shoot the SAME IDENTICAL SPEED! Arrows are: Easton 2117's 30.5" with 125gr tips and 3 5" parabolic feathers. Easton or Beeman Carbon 400's full length with 125gr tips and 3 5" parabolic feathers. Wood shafts full length same tip and feathers. Hope this helps.
