Title: List of canadian bowyers??
Post by: David Yukon on November 08, 2010, 01:29:00 AM: Who makes bows in canada? Looking for recurves, and I know of Chek-Mate, Cari-bow and Wright archery.
Let me know of other and if you have had any experiences with them!!

I contacted Jack Kempf and he will send me picture of his bows and see what we can come up with!! A year is along wait... But I have other bows to use!!

I will (God willing) shoot some of his bows someday.

Pincher Creek Alta...makes several different bows...I own a few..three of them... all different styles and I harvested game with all 3 of them the FIRST DAY I USED THEM...Bert must put 'Mojo' in the wood!!!!! Howard Hill style bow 2000.... cow moose first time out....Bamboo backed osage bow...5 x 5 elk fist time out 2006 ...and 2010 r/d two piece take down..mulie buck first time out... that is mojo..and beautiful bows too.

Joe Skipp might know,he knows Rick as well. I have a t/d recurve built by Rick,a very nice bow. Rick bow business was called Bow River Archery,and he lived in the town of Cockran,Alberta.
