John McDonald builds great shooting bows. I've owned several different models and to the bow they were stable, hard shooters. That said, I had never owned one of his Flatbows that is, until yesterday. I was able to purchase a 62", 51# @ 28" built out of dyed fiddleback maple. I draw the bow 31" and it flat smokes an arrow and has just a pleasant little "thump" at release. Very quiet, stable bow. Looking forward to shooting a bonus tag doe with it this next week. Thanks Glenn!

Yep those are good shooting canoe paddles. Mine was my favorite bow until the weight got a little much for me. They are great shooters, good luck on the tag filling.

I have been saving up for a flat bow. I almost have enough now but want a take down model so I have a little more to go.
I have a long bow and love it a lot...
