Had an absolutely awesome morning this morning. Had 4 bucks around me chasing. A very nice gnarly looking 10 point was at spitting distance. Sorry didn't get any photos. That stand is in a tight spot and had my hands on my bow instead of the camera hanging close by and with them and the does all around, they had me pinned down.
In contrast tonight was a bust. Two does and a fawn until I heard the leaves crunching again. Watching for the culprit I see this guy slipping through the woods and on his way in. He got broadside in an opening and I squeaked with my lips. He stopped immediately and the Morrison had loosed the arrow. It all happened so fast I had no idea where I hit him. He turned to bite his attacker then bolted 30 yards or so before he started tumbling. At 24 yards the shot was perfectly through his heart (total luck I promise). Sorry for the crappy picture my flash is broken. I'll take some more tomorrow if I get a moment.

I 100% agree with the the good shot part and I sure couldn't argue against the next part but I think they are making more yotes faster than we can take them out.
Then Hill bows are some bad dudes, killers for sure!
Thanks for sharing with us.
God bless,Mudd
PS: I keep working at getting an arrow that the Hill heads will fly on to suit me. I have always thought they looked bad to the bone. You've proven me out. Thanks!
Good job!
nice work. I want me one of those bad! Where in Kentucky are you?
That's gettin it done...way to go :clapper:
Awesome trophy! Nice shootin' as well. You can always get one those gnarly bucks, but coyote is a rare opportunity!
Sweet. My wife would like a vest in that color.
ATA-BOY do it again!! I DARE YA >>--->

No doubt, a coyote is proof you can put an arrow where it needs to be when the time comes.

Nice Tom......I've never had a shot at a coyote but heard a few this weekend while hunting upstate PA. Someday.... :( Enjoy the season!

Great Job Tom!!!!
Pretty reddish yote bud!
Awesome shot Tom!
I had one of these fellows in my yard last Sunday around 9:00 am. He was a very large one and was only about 20 feet from our back door! I grabbed the rifle but he took off across the road and was gone. First one I've ever seen in my yard and I don't live way out in the sticks either.
 Good job!!!
Nice!!! KY :archer:
:notworthy: Awesome!
Nicely done!!! I almost had a shot at one last night...ten more yards and...well we'll see if he comes back on Friday.
Nice Shooting. I see you picked a good spot. You couldn't have walked up an placed it any better. One of the toughest creatures in the woods to harvest with a bow. Sense of smell and hearing of a deer and the eyes of a turkey.
Tom, you got some skills! Big hole you put in that thing. You keep stacking up the kills and we'll have to give you a prize or some thing. Lol
Great shot Tom! Truly a fine trophy with a stick!
Tom,
Sorry I missed this post until now...... Congrats on that beautiful song dog. I saw the deer post you started for your bud, but missed this one.
I love the pics!!!!

Great shot! Glad to see one less coyote running around Ky.
Awesome TJ...Wack em all! Great Shot! :notworthy:
Is it just me or does it seem like coyotes are getting thicker everywhere?
I know down here where I live in SE Mo. I'm up to my knees in coyotes, they are just lousy thick for some reason!
heck of a shot TJ...coyotes are probably one of the hardest animals to kill with a bow...especially a tradbow
Sweet. A coyote was my first larger game trad kill.
That is nice, Traditional sure is fun
Wow! Awesome!
