These two stepped into this opening in the woods at about the same time in front of my stand. The photos to follow are them posturing over this little spot. To the winner would go the spoils of abundant acorns. After they left I couldn't help but ponder how many territorial battles these two would have in the years to come.

Thanks everyone. I saw 8 different deer last night, this sequence of photos was from my treestand when these two little guys saw each other. They were taken over a span of 23 minutes. It was amazing to watch them posturing over what they both thought was their domain. The last pic shows the loser trotting off with his tail tucked.
Glad you enjoyed them.
TJ

I hunt in Pike County Doug :saywhat:
Nice pics!
That's what I'm talkin' 'bout. I love just seeing deer, and am missing it terribly, again this year - so these pictures help.
Nice pictures !
That's Kentucky terrain? I didn't realize you guys had cedar trees like that. I've always liked the look of that terrain. Nice. Happy hunting!
Hey BTW, love the cedars. They make the best treestand trees in my opinion. Another benefit while in them I pick off the foliage and crush it in my hand. Makes great cover scent. I also use it in my plastic tub of hunting clothes. A local guy used to grind it up and make a liquid cedar cover scent. Great stuff.
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!

That's an ant condo.
Nice pics, hope you get a chance at the big boy you're waiting on.
Great pics! It will be neat to look at them in the future and relive the hunt.
