wondering if a bow that 54" would stack or pinch @28 i am not familar with the new one just wondering if anyone has had a chance to shoot on yet
Nope, not at all. It's all about the limb design. I have 2 Shrew recurves, a Scout and a Little Favorite. Zero string pinch at 28".
i have a scout coming thursday but i was wanting to order another one but i wasnt sure about the length
waiting on my little favorite!!!!! Please get here before deer season! lol...
have you ever shot one
nope no stack or pinch not even out to 29" draw They shoot great
They are really a great bow and absolutly no pinch at my 28" draw. I picked up the prototype from Ron at the Kalamazoo show and it is one of the best bows I have ever picked up.
so it is worth waiting a year on
Most definatly worth the wait.
We'll have a RH 52#@28" Chameleon version at Ron's booth at the Compton shoot.

I have a 54" bow (non shrew) that seemed to stack at my 28 1/2" draw. I adjusted the brace height and it fixed it for me.
Ive never shot a Shrew but id like to own one id bet that it shoots great and pinch isn't an issue as shown above Ron knows his stuff im sure if it did pinch he wouldn't be shooting it and would change something. I have faith in him I wouldn't worry about a thing.
Ive got a Shrew on order due early 08. When the time comes I'll proly get a little favorite.
I have a Bear Kodiak Mag.new production [Gainsville] that is 45#@28. I can honestly say that I dont feel any string pinch.
It is about limb design, the lil' favorite is smooth to 29"s at least and maybe a tad more. I am shooting a RER Arroyo 54"s, no pinch or stack all the way out to 30"s. Shawn
