Does someone know some good shooting games for kid´s with bow and arrow ?
We are planing a X-mass event for our local archery club and want to have some fun with our young shooters.
Thanks,
Gundog
Any balloon shooting is fun.Stuffed animals,Nerf basket ball shooting works.Ping pong balls on string works well to.
You can put prize tickets/notes inside balloons and kids can shoot for them. Different prizes in different balloons.
Kids like archery tick-tack-toe. Big sheets of paper with TTT grid and kids take turns shooting for their X's and O's.
Tic Tac Toe or how ever its called works great.
You know the one with 6 squares and two people making "X" and "O" till one has three in a row.
ha, too slow :)
Or you paint numbers (eg 2,4,6,8,10) on the target, everybody starts with eg 50 points and must work his way down to zero like darts.
a balance beam just two sticks the balance one about 4 foot long two milk jugs tied to the ends filled with water first one to tip all the way up wins.
My Old Club had a Great Time Passing Out Prizes for Ballons Popped with Prize Tickets in Them!!
Tic Tac Toe with clay pigeons is really fun. My girls love it. As stated above any thing with balloons, kids love. Shooting different stuffed animals is a blast, even the adults like that. For our club shoots I get stuffed animals from yard sales and good will.
Put baby powder in some of the balloons, looks like an explosion.
I'll second David's ideal.
How old? Another suggestion...
2 liter soda bottle rigged to a fishing rod. Put some weight in the bottle, cast it way out there, reel it in, have fun.
my kids loved shooting balloons.... Joe
If you have the room, do archery golf. Pick a tree/bush in the distance, and see who can hit it in the least amount of shots.
I see there are a lot of good tips here. Thanks.
The kids are from 9 to 17 years old.

Yup, my son loves to shoot a helium balloons. Go to the dollar store and ask them for extra length ribbon. Them tie them down and let them float. If there is a slight wind it gets good. Have a good backstop.
He also loved to shoot black jack. Get a deck of cards and spread them out and glue them onto a large sheet of cardboard. Hang them up on a target and let them shoot one arrow at a time. First to get black jack wins.
Filled balloons
