Mike M's got it...   1/8" is pretty much the norm... give or take... plus or minus a pinch... or a smidge...   I guess my standard is "not quite to center", which generally eyeballs out to about 1/8"...   It's not super critical if you match arrows well.  In fact, about one bow in four I don't cut a shelf in at all, shoot 'em the old fashioned way, like when we were kids.  They shoot just as well, just takes a lighter spine.

I can tell you for a fact that it is a real beauty and an even better shooter.

Howard Hill Cheetah aka "Keeper Kat".

If she would have lost weight like I told her she'd still have a home here....lol

I really do know better than to talk about a lady's weight.

"Mudd" sold his "Cheetah". The sound you just heard was the critters in MO saying God Bless Mudd. He just made the swamps safer for his 4 legged friends. Can't believe it happened. What's the world coming to?   :banghead:

I traded off a bow once that I really like and have regretted it ever since. So, now I keep 'em all! I use the "regret" thing to justify keeping all my bows and never selling one off whenever I get a new bow. Consequently, I now have 2 Cheetahs. One is 40# and the other is 55#. I love beautiful cats.

I have traded a few I regret trading. I think I am getting the hang of how to grip the kat.

Once you hold her so she comfortable, it's all X's from then on..lol

Remember to hold her just like a girlfriend you like a lot. (Firm but not too tight)

Let her feel your whole hand from top to bottom.(even pressure)

God bless,Mudd

Soundman,
I've shot your bow & I'm sure it will be verything you expect. It shoots 55/60s really nice. If you don't like her, send her to me. I'll give her a good home   :bigsmyl:
