After a lot of research, sounds like you can't go wrong with either. I decided to try the Muddy Sticks.
They came in today and I've been playing with them in the yard. These things are great. Well built with a lot of great features. Very quick and quiet up and down the tree. I was a little worried about how good they would lock to the tree, but it seats solidly...no worries there. Packs together nice and tight.
It's time to retire the ol' tree spurs. Getting to where they are illegal to use in some of the public land around here anyways.....plus they have been killing my ankles and knees this year for some reason. :dunno:
