Had a fantastic evening last night. Saw 7 different bucks on the move. This morning had 4 come through in a different stand. One of them this morning was pushing two does but most were just eating acorns. Get in those stands.
This little fella was wondering what that ugly thing was in that tree.

This dude ate acorns under me for 40 minutes and really tried my sole. He was spared though as he is not the one I'm after. He finally moseyed off back to his bed at just before 10 am.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone picts, I forgot my camera.
Wow! You have great control.
Hang on buddy....you and the Big 8 have a date
I'd have plugged the second one. The biggest I've seen, and the one I'm after, isn't that big. Only allowed one buck in KY so wait it out.
I saw him last night Curt at about 80 yards but he didn't head my way. Boy he is impressive on the hoof.
Nice deer!

Good picts Tom...
I bet he's even more impressive when you get to wrap your hands around them horns.. :bigsmyl:
I know it's getting close...have never seen like the new bucks showing up daily...rattled in one Monday night that if he had both sides would of been 130" 10 point... :banghead: thinkin he may have been hit by a car because he was aweful scarred up but seemed to be getting around good....
Dang TJ I would have dropped the string! Good luck out there!
Great pics! I had a good morning here in IL. Did some light "puppet fighting" with some shed antlers and had 3 different bucks come. Great day to be in the woods! Good luck with your big 'un :campfire:
I'd been tickled with the first one! HA! Cool pics! Jason
dude....you must have some good deer around...
cause that deer woulda had me peein my pants...lol
Go get em TJ. Good call on the 2nd buck. He will be there next year and most definately a shooter. Good luck!!!
Got any pics of the big 8?
Good luck Tom,I really hope you score on that one. Thanks for the pics.
Nice pics! Man if the second one isn't big enough for you I can wait to see the one that is!!!!
Good Luck
GLENN
Looks like fun!! I didn't get to go this AM, but bro saw 6 different bucks and a bunch of does. 1 doe was runnin her fawns off, things are gonna get good shortly!
We would like to see the big 8! :readit: :)
Awesome pics Tom. I bow to your restraint!! :notworthy:
Seems like things really kicked off here in Va yesterday. Lots of reports of cruising, chasing, and fighting.

I'd be as stupid as I am old if I let one like that walk...lol
He's bigger than any I've taken with a bow.
It's not wonder I've never gotten anything big. I have been known to shoot at that faint outline where one of it's spots were just a couple of weeks earlier...lol
Congratulations!! On just having what it takes to NOT shoot!!
God bless,Mudd
You, your Morrison Foam Core, that big 8, all in a hero pic.....it would be a beautiful thing!
I hope so to Jake, he's old and wise and I'm just old.
TJ, you have more will power than me. The ten pt. would have been just fine. Good luck on what ever dandy you have your eye on.
Al
If he would have moseyed by my stand I would have had to let him hold one of my woodsman...
Tom,i've let several small bucks walk already but that second one would be hard to pass.
Congrats on good self control.
I want to see the one you are waiting for.
What!
Good luck TJ. Looking forward to your pics...
You must be one tough critter if you can pass a buck like the one you showed.
I guess if you got bucks like that running around every year, it`s almost a shame to disturb the evening. More fun sometimes just to sit and watch.
Good luck...I hope the one you are after ends up broadside at ten yards!
Believe me guys on most any other place I wouldn't think twice about shooting this trophy, but on this farm he is just a little above average.
