I managed to accidentally dryfire my take down recurve when an arrow nock broke. This in destroyed one of my limbs. I have been unsuccessful in getting the original bowyer to produce a new set of limbs. It seems he is no longer interested. Is my riser and expensive paper weight or is it possible that someone else could fabricate a set of limbs that will work? I would hate to send the riser to the scrap heap. It was a beutiful bow and made me truly happy for a long time. :help:
I did try searching for an answer hoping not to clog the forum, but was unable to find a post that covered my need.
Depends on the bow but some will interchange with any limbs from same type of bow ,some will not. Who made the bow?
It was a 55 @ 28, 62" Sweptwing takedown. I don't see them very often in classifieds here or at the leather wall.
Try mad dog archery. I think he does something like that.
I know he can save busted one piece recurves by basically scraping off the limbs and reusing the riser.
I think me may be able to help or point you in the right direction.
