Well we are entering my favorite time of year in Michigan, pre rut! The bucks are starting to move and I was gettin really excited. But then I went and sprained my shoulder playing hockey!! I can't even begin to pull back my bow!! I can't believe it! I look foreward to this time of year all year and now I'm out of commission for several weeks or maybe a month! AAAUURRGHH! :knothead:
I feel your pain.Seriously, My left shoulder is a real pain right now. Get well soon.
Chuck
Sorry for your bad luck. Been sick for 3 weeks and unable to hunt. Might make it this weekend. I'll do my best for you. Man, take a camera out and watch, don't miss everything!
Try left handed!! I have done that a couple times over the years. Shawn
Sorry that's terrible timing.
get well as quick as you can
Thanks guys! Yeah I was gonna try left handed but that hurts too! Oh well, So how long till turkey season? ha
Bill,
Get in to see a Physical Therapist. At the very least it will help you get better for the future. I've seen some sprains turn out to be rotator cuff tears and other ones turn out to be relatively quick to heal. At least you will be doing something to help it get better rather than just waiting for time to heal you.
Chris
Yeah I went in a few days ago and got an x ray. no tears or anything, just a sprain.
Man, that bites! Hope you heal up quick!
JL
If it makes you feel any better I am in (knock on wood) perfect health and plan on hunting daily from here on out, I will throw 5-6 hunts in there for ya'! Get well and remember bow season comes back every year, same time, same place!
know how you feel, lee. spranged my ankle severely last year the weekend before the season started. missed the first 5 weeks of the bow season. was on crutches for 3. it still gives me problems. try a lower poundage bow. hang in there and good luck to you.
