Title: For those looking for a good short brim hat...check out the one Big Jim carries
Post by: Chris Surtees on October 26, 2010, 07:11:00 AM: While hunting pigs a couple weeks ago I noticed Paul Kimbol (Dragonrider) use wearing a nice looking short brimmed hat. After talking about it for awhile found out he bought from Big Jim.

The day after I returned an order was placed for green and brown camo hats. Matter of fact Paul asked me to pick him up a couple spares as well.

The one thing I really like about them is the brim has a wire in it which allows it to be put into shape as not to interfere with the bow string.

they are also available with an embroidered Big Jims Bow Company logo.

I just orderd them and she said they would ship tomorrow. I should have them in a few days. The problem is, she told me they adjust from a mans head size to a child. She said that a 2 year old wears one. That means as soon as I get mine to the house, my two boys will take them over and I won't get to wear them until I order more.

On a hunting camp, we where 4 trad shooters and 8 compound shooters a trad friend was wearing a fedora hat, and at night some compund guy got scared thinking he looked like fredy kruger, jajaj

She said that it does indeed improve my looks a little. She also said that if the hat had some sewn in drop-down camo mesh that covered my face, I would even look better. I want to add, that I think this would be a perfect hat for Barry Wensel, so, Uncle Barry if you're reading this, you have it on my authority that this would be the perfect headgear for ya...

I think Barry and Gene are selling these exact same hats on their website. If not, they look a lot alike.
