Title: Stalker photo contest
Post by: Bivyhunter on October 25, 2010, 11:36:00 PM
While starting to work on gathering pictures for my 2011 brochure, I had a great idea. To all of you Stalker shooters, both old and new, I am looking for field photos of your Stalker bow(with or without the hunter in the picture). I will have a contest for the best picture.  I am looking for something unique.  The winner will get a FREE pair of limbs for their bow, any other pictures that get used in the catalog will get a t-shirt from the Stalker Store.  Pictures need to be emailed to me by the first part of December. I am excited to see what you guys can produce!
Also, send in your hunter success pics and I'll put them on the back page of the catalog.

Ryan, go put your bow in the hands of one of those bikini-clad babes down at the beach.  You could pass it off as a bowfishing pic!

I guess I have to do what takes to try and win a free set of limbs. But on the other hand I would really hate to be in the "dog house".  :D

I killed 2 coyotes on two seperate stands with mine this weekend but no pics. The bow performed awesome! The 'yotes were a bloody mess, and frankly, were not fit to photo. Mange BIGTIME on both. Skinny rascals, both males. Wonder why they were both trailing button bucks...

Ryan, if it is in the interest of "art" (not to mention new limbs) then the doghouse is a small price to pay    :biglaugh:

FYI, I'm happy to get the success pics, but what I'm really after is more of the "mood" shots. Pics like a fresh dusting of snow on bow and arrows, shot of hunter with big country in the background, hunter on stand with steam coming out of mouth (not drool, got plenty of those), bow and fall colors etc.  Hope that gives you guys some ideas...

South, I didn't know I could take my Stalker from California, with these exotic woods out in the snow. Are you sure that is OK? Had a great day in the woods with snow flurries Friday night and almost got run over by 2 deer. No shots were taken but all 3 parties involved were excited about it.

Mike,
Easy for you to say....you won't be the one sleeping with the dirty dog.  :biglaugh:

Hey South,
Are these decent examples?  Sorry no bikinis...

Aussie is going to be tough to beat, but I'm sure there are some other creative guys out there as well.  Might have a hard time photo shopping in a more beautiful background though.
