I got a ACS CX it is 45# @28" and I need to get some new arrows set up for it. I draw 28". With 50 gr insert and 160 broadhead what spine Beman classic and what long do you guys think. Everyone is shooting with a similar a weight? Any help is appreciated.
A 500 should work well.
With a 50gr insert and 160gr broadhead, I think you will be slightly underspined with a 500 with the standard sideplate on your ACS-CX. On the other hand, 400's are stiff for 45#'s. I think the 500's will work best, but I don't know that I would do the 50gr insert if you are going to use a 160gr broadhead. I shoot axis 500's in my 40# ACS-CX and draw about 28-3/4". My shafts are 30-1/2" BOP (I think) and were slighly weak. I build out the sideplate slightly to tune them.
I have a 45# at 28 coming, I should pull it about 47lbs so I will be looking at the 400 beman classics to start with. I need a 30inch arrow for clearance and have not decided on what weight point to shoot. I might have to build out a little also. I think arrows might be different for each individual according to their release, etc.
Carbon Express 150 should do good without the 50grn insert.
400's leave full length and cut from back to bare shaft tune. I have an ACS CX 45@30 shooting axis 340 31" 200gr point and 100 grain insert.
Hi guys, thanks for all informations about my nice ACS bow.
